First off, this game requires 100% HONESTY! But I trust the good members on HMF to do just that.
I’m sure most of you remember the Game Show “Deal or No Deal?” Well this thread is for that very game.
1 member is the contestant and another will be the host AND The Banker.
It is up to the host/Banker to (preferably) write down the amounts of money behind every case. It does not matter which amount you set to a certain case–ITS ALWAYS RANDOM FOR EVERY GAME.
So… before the game starts. The contestant chooses 1 CASE (1-26) The amount of this case is not revealed to the contestant at this time!
Once the case is chosen, the rounds begin.
- Round 1 = Choose 6 cases. The Host reveals the amount of all 6 cases chosen by the contestant.
(Then after the 6th case, the Banker makes a cash offer depending on the cases chosen. The idea is for the Banker to try and buy your original case. Only the host knows the truth so this is why the cash offers are up to them.) Contestant says “Deal or No Deal”
Deal = End of game. No Deal = Game Continues
Round 2 = Choose 5 cases
Round 3 = Choose 4 cases
Round 4 = Choose 3 cases
Round 5 = Choose 2 cases
Round 6 to Round 9 = Choose only 1 case per round. (Cash Offers made in between each pick
Round 10 = The Contestant now has the opportunity to either (keep) their original case, or (switch) it with the last remaining one.
At the end, the Banker/Host reveals the amount that is in YOUR CASE.
Again, you can end the game at anytime by saying “DEAL.” At that point, a new game can begin.
Remember (if you’re the Banker) be totally honest, or else the game looses its point.
Also, it would be a lot easier if both players keep track of the cases that were picked with a pencil and paper. (Or on their phone or computer) The Banker especially, for when matching the amounts to a specific case in the very beginning.
Post Example For Game
Contestant’s Post: (6) case picks (spoiler tags for case amount; optional for when the Banker reveals them.)
