I’d be interested to know (because my own theory is that IOI went “OK 3D modeling crew, you have 2 hours to make a purple color swap of this thing, coffee break included”).

I use suits and items if they fit the theme/location I’m in some suits like the 7 deadly sin suits don’t really work on any map but maybe Paris for the one with the cape
But some items I use to kill certain targets like I use the measuring tape to kill Walter Williams and the bankers rope for the censor instead of using the normal fibre wire
I do like using different suits for different missions though it makes it feel like it’s different each time

I did use the requirem suit for elusive targets in Hitman 2, but nowadays I go based on if I feel like playing aka. something fitting or quite silly.
I, like alot of other have said, only use suits that make sense. Stuff 47 might wear. The only exception to that is the 17 suit. I begged for it for a long time forgetting it had shades. So I’ll wear it even if shades don’t make sense since they finally give it to us and I feel like 47 might occasionally want to swap his tie colour up for something other than red.
I change suit based on vibes. Cowboy if I want to feel like a cool badass assassin, white yukata because it’s my favourite, or purple swimwear if I’m mucking about. I like wearing inappropriate outfits for the area. Imagine doing Colorado in your boxers
