As far as I know, no, because the egg itself doesn’t knock out people, it just makes them fall just like muffins or a shot to the leg. As long as nobody sees you throw it you wont fail SA.
I’ve pulled for the green emetic egg before, and hope and expect it as an unlock. (I’m deliberately not in the leaks section so I don’t know how right or wrong I am.)
That’s the exact reason why I want the Antique Sedative Syringe to be added as an unlock to the main game. We have the Lethal and the Emetic, but not the Sedative.
I also want the Water Canister for the same reason, even though that’s just a set of two (the Oil and Water ones that is).
In regards to what you said though about the full set, I can make an exception for never getting the full set for the eggs solely because of the red egg.
I personally was against getting the blue egg when it was announced, but since we already have the blue egg, we may as well get the green egg and the yellow egg.
Another item I would be perfectly fine never getting a full set of would be the Bubble Gum items because of a hypothetical Lethal Gum, but I would be fine with an Emetic one.
Public Enemy suit was different - it was on the new roadmap at the time, but it was accidentally included in the server data upload on patch day long before it was meant to be live. So they removed it a little while after before becoming available on the intended date.
“Unroadmapped” ETs have been a thing for a little while now - which has been quite regularly complained about as it caused people to miss various activations last year. At least this time they activated one before the last ET on the roadmap, so the worst case scenario is that it is a pleasant surprise for anyone that goes to play The Forger - rather than being “oh man, I missed it because I didn’t know!”.
While still not a perfect execution of communication, its still a lot better than past instances.
They must have killed the target before failing the Fixer ET. As challenges are locked in the moment they’re completed, they don’t lose the challenge if they later fail. It would have only shown up after completing the Arcade contract as it would have been the first completed mission in Marrakesh since failing the ET.
The second (abbreviated) run of The Disruptor last year didn’t appear on a roadmap and was only pre-announced on social media iirc.
So with the announcement of IOI’s Tweet mentioning an update and presumably one with patch notes on the day, we can hope that the roadmap will be released as well!
Hopefully we do get the roadmap today or tomorrow, like i know the Season of the Luck ends on march 31 but we already have a not-on-roadmap ET with The Drop and a not-on-roadmap content drop with PSVR2 so the new roadmap is bleeding in
For me I hope we finally get some contracts support for BEH, maybe finally a Chinese New Year or Festival of Colors mission of some kind, The Undying (vanilla) finally rerun (all other versions have been The Returns variant, some cool unlocks maybe? some fixes for bugs and maybe some long term plans for freelancer - plus some new furniture from the 7DS pack
Given that we’re finally approaching zero hour for the new season to start (to me it seems like The Season of the Luck lasted forever), I guess I’ll just reiterate some improbable but amazing surprises I’d love to see in this roadmap (or any roadmap really): a brand new cross-trilogy challenge pack, the missing legacy challenges/escalations getting brought back, or The Disruptor Returns reworking the mission with a different likeness and actor.
