You can’t smother him on the cake in the Kitchen, but the cake in Jordan’s birthday party room is possible.
@The_Master did it
Finally did the ET and quite happy with the result for some of the screenshots. SA/SO. Will show in a bit!
bruh this ET made me rage more than SASO did
Great question, it’ll still be a one-shot deal, things completed in VR/standard version are one and the same.
Well, first, all Escalations from the past (i.e. H1 &H2) and the bonus missions (like Landslide, House made of Sand and Patient Zero) are unavailable in the VR simulation mode… that’s most likely why Mr Giggles was unavailable. Haven and NY are available though.
You are able to play the 7DS content though and I enjoyed Gluttony and the new Dartmoor in VR.
All righty. My starting equipment. I love the Bubble Gum!
Made sure to clean up part of the storage room of the Himmapan but here’s something annoying: the guard that patrols outside (not the one sleeping) heard a thrown I did on the stairs inside and I noticed barely by good luck almost getting caugth. So of course had to let him have his way with the bubble gum… We do need fixing on that deal since H2016.
I despise you…
As always, he arrives to the kitchen after a while so the next part of everything can be resumed as BONK.
BONK
BONK
BONK
That last BONK was useless since the fella changes his route with his bodyguard and the waiter that tours him gone. He goes to the bar lounge and you know how that place sucks to manuever. Still, there was salvation with one NPC: Jackie Carrington.
Precious little coins for a cheap ass but effective way of luring NPCs plus the mic in case of the need of a non-suspciious blunt object.
47’s face represent my frustration of extra steps for the kill, here disposing of the poor employee that’s close to the stairs to the basement. Also having to wait for the manager and her companion to pass from here. You know how they can mess up ETs…
This is cheap but IT JUST WORKS…
These two sceenshots alone were worthy all the extra steps. I’m pleased. Good idea to bring the Ice Pick.
After that, just a hastly escape to the basement because I don’t trust that boat exit during ETs and also wanted to use Black Lilly for at least one shot to the security camera. Tada!
EDIT: He had t odie if he wouldn’t appreciate the fresh ingredients cultivated by a Bearmon.
I did the run in VR and surprisingly was able to get SA.
Once I figured out how to lure him out of his comfort zone, I went with a little trick I like… a Lethal shot of Poison followed by a Lethal shot of El Matador!
Well I got the Food Critic. I played it a couple times, always got spotted or missed my window of opportunity to drown him in Cake.
Finally, on my last attempt, I realised he chilled in the lounge, permanently, after tasting the cake. I managed to do a gun lure on my first try, what a fluke!
Lured him to the kitchen, and then it became a permanent cat-and-mouse chase, since I was wearing a kitchen staff disguise – one that he’s suspicious to…
I ran into the walk-in freezer where I stashed a waiter disguise, tried to get out, and the target saw the bodies.
I shot him.
At least I got the Bangkok Suit out of the deal. My Suit collection is now 100%. Too bad my assassination was basic AF.
Alright Mark Faba, calm down
Sorry
Naw, it’s fine. I’m glad I got out and got the reward alongside it, I’ve just been on a roll lately with coming up with fun challenges for myself with ETs, and this time I couldn’t follow through.
Any job you can walk away from is a success!
I’ve just started messing with out of bounds exploration and haven’t even attempted the weapon lure trick yet, congrats!
That’s really cool!
Love the fact that you can just physically prick an NPC with the syringe like that. And fooling around with NPCs faces is so goofy, but adds to the fun of how robotic and weird some of the AI systems are.
Interesting that there’s still some pipes left over like the one at the balconies. ooh.
The VR is a goofy fun time, dancing around in Berlin, or ‘blending in’ allows for some fun subversion…
I also realized that only in VR I can ‘no-scope’ with sniper rifles, but it’s difficult and sloppy.
I got really angry. I poisoned the cake and he vomited in some nearby pumpkin crates instead of a toilet.
Some of Bangkok’s Kitchen and Waiting Staff may have met a microphone or Sapper’s Axe to the skull… or two…
I got him when he was at the lounge. I threw a coin behind the wall at the bar area then I used a lethal syringe.
Poisened the cake. Then I saw he didn’t eat the cake, but took some distance from the waiter and his bodyguard to check up on some other kitchen counter.
Went to get a profane flask and put it at said counter. I KO’d 6 kitchen NPC’s because I had time, there was room to store six, and I wanted to minimize witnesses of me shooting the propane or any collateral damage.
Waited a looong time, armed and ready. Got a little scare when that chef coming from upstairs with the long route stood at the exact spot where my propane was, but he left for the toilet, phew. So I was armed and ready to hit the propane when the food critic came down again, but this time he did eat the cake and he died and I did all that other stuff for nothing.
there’s too many OP items in hitman 3 compared to hitman 1. it’s like the devs don’t care about item balance.
They did get rid of the electrocution phone so that’s one step.
seeing you comically stab him with a syringe and then seeing him flip in the air was awesome, even better that it was from 47’s perspective. no doubt that VR made it more challenging in some ways. great run
Poisoned the cake, waiting 20 minutes, done.
Damned @ColdDayInHell, someone managed to beat your time by two seconds at 0:36 on xbox.
I was rooting for your “I don’t care, just blasting the target” run, to be #1. It would have been funny. (you are still second)
