You probably already know this, but just in case: Block Guards also have access to the area and there are fewer Enforcers for that disguise compared to the Street Guard. Maybe the Scientists disguise works, too.
Was really lazy with this one. Too tired after a day of work. Just went to the basement, siekerād everyone and snapped his neck. Stored him in a closed and got out in under three minutes. Anyway: SA, a new suit and another ET down.
Excellent return to form. Love the knee shot for the escape ad to prevent the body from being found.
As far as I can tell, there is no other scripted opportunities.
In the background of the ET, itās the day before the match so the target is just reviewing his fighters, so the fight wonāt happen.
Iāve tried taking out the training fighter next to the ring, lhe ones in the basement, looked around the arcade and the basement for items and promptā¦
The only change if an npc is taken out is that dialogues wonāt trigger and the target will move on immediately.
The only ārealā opportunity there is the coke line. Hence the mail for more oportunities and outside access. And after it the target just returns to his previous routine.
The ET is really like the Heartbreaker in how itās constructed, just with a secured base routine instead of a public one.
Also @Pitman, I had the same idea but unfortunately the restricted area were changed for the researcher disguise. They are now trespassing in the ground floor of the block and the basement. They are still free to roam the arcade and the court with the ring. They have the same three enforcers that the block guard has.
The block guard disguise is the best bet, free access to all the place the ET goes to and only three enforcers.
(also fun fact : because the ET takes place in a different night, there is no test subject disguise)
And for everyone who likes to look at canon and timeline. Here is a clue :
Who is āweā ?
So, Iāve only kind of skimmed the comments here. From what I understand, thereās an option to trigger a meeting, and an opportunity to poison his drugs. Two questions: does the meeting get him away from his bodyguards; and does the drug poisoning connect with the meeting, or is it separate?
My ET run summary.

The drug poisonning is not directly related to the meeting.
(basically the target wants a refund for the one he already has, the one you can find and poison. The meeting is for a (faked by 47) refund)
The target is not fully separated from his bodyguard (itās just the one bodyguard, actually), but the bodyguard will stand in place while the target move around the small esplanade in front of the laundromat/the disco.
Technically, all ETs happen before the actual events of the missions.
If we look at this logically and not that itās some oversight, the events of The Rage happen before Berlin.
Ok, now I want to utilize both options, so hereās my plan, tell me if itās viable:
I spike his cocaine with rat poison, and when he goes to puke, I subdue his bodyguard. Then, I trigger the meeting, subduing any potential witnesses before and/or during the wait for him to arrive. Once he does, I go up and fight him, knocking him to the ground, but not knocking him out. I wait for him to get up, I fight him again, I knock him down again. While heās getting up, I walk around behind him, pull the fiber wire, and once heās fully stood up, I strangle the prick, dump his body, and get the hell out of Dodge. SASO.
What say you guys?
If you do that @Heisenberg, you will have to take out a lot of people in front, in and maybe on top of the laundromat.
As for taking out the bodyguard will the target is puking : he goes to a bin, so the bodyguard is on the line of sights of people, or without a easy way to hide his body.
Damn. Whatās the best place to isolate him for an extended period of time?
Back room of the arcade.
You can see it in :
- what @ZeroGravitas posted (itās the most straightforward for your intent)
- @MvpAgent47 post, bonus for no KO and letting that poor bodyguard alone
- what @Hichkas did and posted
If you want to see his routine in the meeting, have a look at
- @CamTheChest post, with a poem !
- mine (but itās only an image)
We also had a bear of a fight with what @UrsamRableckBearmon did.
Itās high quality !
I believe itās the closest to what you want to do, you might want to take some inspiration or clue from it, it could be of use.
You will find in the backroom a brand new mirror (and a bugged pickup with the as much brand new shelf).
So isolating the target here is per the design of the ET, and your best bet.
Based on what @Pitman said, I donāt think that fighting him is an option.
Really? I thought I had read someone saying that he had a QTE when trying to engage him?
Disappointing if thatās not the case, but oh well. Iāll still fiber wire him.
I only gathered a little intel and had a look before I restarted and shot my shot.
My plan was to be waiting for him in the basement with a baseball bat⦠but when I showed up, he was already there, so I just went for it.
In VR, to break necks you have to get close and reach for their necks (usually easy, but he slumped on the couch making it a bit tricky).
(The thumbnail is from a short extra scene at the end)
He does have a qte,
And since it was posted while I redacted this one, you can see the mother of all direct fight against the Rage in what was just posted above me by @Morty7 .
@UrsamRableckBearmon
How do you get him to the apartment?
UrsamRableckBearmon coined him there Euler.
(damn between typing your name without the 13 here and the ask HMF anything thread this morning, I just got your pseudonym)
Donāt worry itās not another story branch for you to find, trigger and smoothly record in this enforcer-filled ET.
When he goes to the laundromat. Set some coins outside the apartamentās window and inside along the bear grenade so he saw all of them and got into the place.
