Don’t those shatter on impact? I can’t remember if destroying it would cause a failure or not. I haven’t played this one since its original run in 2016.
iirc you could throw it but it wouldn’t break
A new ET, one I never played before. Is there a better way to come back to the game after a month of leaving ?
My first run on my main/completionist profile was rather standard : Sheikh disguise, ICA Remote Micro Taser, Ivory White with a mix of radio distraction, placed weapon to bring to the evidence room, and a lockpick. Simple, and boring.
My second run was more fun. Let’s have a look at the target, Howard Moxon. He’s so much of a smoker that he is lighting a cigarette in his main picture.
What a filthy habit.
So I went to the Sanguine Fashion Show with my best suit, tie, propane flask, and shoes.
And the doctors are, as usual, right : smoking kills.
The retrieval of the Ivory White was still standard, just with some more vaulting. In the end it was a SASONKO run, not bad after a month of not launching the game.
Broken Broker
Finished it. Lure him with emetic gas into a bathroom. I KOed his bodyguard and put a breaching charge underneath his body. This way, I didn’t complete any objective before seeking for the safe and the Ivory White.
I found the safe in Dalia’s room with two bodyguards next to it. Got rid of both by luring them in the next bathroom. Waited for Dahlia and her friend to go out. Opened the safe with a crowbar. Grabbed the Ivory and triggered the breaching charge. Made my way out with the helicopter and a guard disguise. Used a very secrure route for SA rating.
I enjoyed this ET. Hope it will be part of one H1 ET Arcade run in a near future. This way, I can replay this mission.
Haven’t done it yet, but I plan to tonight. I’ve decided to change the tactic that I’ll use, and do what I did to him the first time and have him step into the electrified puddle. Back when I first did this, I didn’t pay attention to his phone conversations and I’ve leaned since then that he’s apparently in touch with the Forger ET. That was not only the first ET, but also the first one I ever did when it was part of the original rerun. Not having known all the details of how ETs work at the time, I was never satisfied with it, and I’m hoping they’ll bring that one back again too and someday put it in Arcade. Since it seems to take place at the same time as the Broker, with them being partners, I want the storylines for both ETs to match up, so they both need to die in tragic accidents, so as not to implicate the museum’s owner. The Ivory White being stolen can be justified in either someone taking the sudden opportunity to pick Moxxon’s pocket for the key to the safe (so to speak, it’s not actually on him but you get what I mean) and steal the egg, or that he had someone move it in the event of his death. Either way, I’ll check my box for an electrical ET death, and if the Forger comes back, I’ll have my desired storyline straight for both of them. I’ll save a Silverballer shot to the head for the Gunrunner, who I’m pretty sure will be coming sometime.
This was a really solid ET. On my main account with 100% completion I took him out with the fart briefcase and infiltrated the auction as a staff member. It was strangely satisfying to start the mission already wearing the Tuxedo with Gloves. On my first alt with just Hitman 3’s main mission challenges completed I did it SASO and used the remote micro taser in the puddle by the patio. On my second alt where I’ve been doing default loadout runs only I placed a propane tank in the courtyard and shot it from the second floor balcony and infiltrated the auction as the Sheikh.
This ET helped me learn several things about Paris. I could’ve sworn the guy in the outdoor patio who’s an enforcer to your suit was an enforcer to all disguises, but he wasn’t an enforcer for the auction staff and tech crew disguises. I never knew that the Sheikh would investigate the piano distraction. Finally, I’d never heard Dalia’s conversation in her room about Victor giving the IAGO list to Lucas Grey. It was a nice detail, but not so nice to hear it three times while waiting for them to leave. I don’t know the release dates of the two but did The Broker reuse the safe location from The Shapiro Omen, or did The Shapiro Omen reuse the safe location from The Broker?
heisenberg where are you have you killed him yet
kill him with the speaker, ezpz
Technically I killed him back in 2018 when he was reactivated, but this current time, no, I haven’t. ETs are always released about half an hour before I have to be at work, so I’m never able to get them right away, I have to wait until the end of the day at best. I’ll likely have this bastard in the ground by midnight, or sometime later this weekend.
That’s a nice surprise! Haven’t been around much lately, didn’t play Hitman at all, was kind of bored (and had a lot of other stuff going on). Will try to make a comeback this weekend, starting with this ET that I never played before!
After growing tired of waiting for Mr. Broker to step into the puddle, I fell back on Plan B: Toss an emetic mine at his feet and drown him in the bathroom. Worked great. Snuck up to the auction, lured the guards into Dahlia’s bathroom, stuffed them in the closet and stole the egg.
I could recall exactly where to toss the PT and forget it while I went to get the egg. Brought in my fav item, Mixtape47, tossed it for one guard to take away, then turned on the radio in the bathroom. Then lockpick the safe… SOSANKO - そさんこ
The Broker was first released 5 August 2016. I don’t know the exact date, but Shapiro Omen was released around the beginning of April in the same year, not long after the game officially launched.
At work everyone thinks you’re focused on the job but in reality you’re strategizing how to kill a video game character. AND getting paid for it. Living the dream!
gassed the bodyguard, waited for the target to stand by the pond and propaned him into it with a breaching charge lmao
You have no idea how on point you are.
Only had 20 minutes before work to scope out the target and his route. As far as I’m concerned, anyone who can be killed with a propane tank while smoking WILL be killed with a propane tank while smoking.
Paris has a fair number of tanks and extinguishers. I might actually make a video for this one. More to come, fellow assassins.
hahaha well enjoy it man
