This one went completely off the rails for me.
My plan was, distract guards with sink/radio, get the egg and snipe The Broker from the bathroom.
Immediately after grabbing the egg though, I decide to exit through the Auction instead, completely forgetting I had a sniper on my back!
It was intense, because there was no restarting now ! I put my skills to the test and was still able to get away, change, and use the propane tank strat. (Though it literally took 15 mins for him to return to the smoking spot for me).
At about 1:49 is when the plan goes out the window.
The reasoning behind the flash was just to spook some of the NPCs out of the Gala.

I encountered a very strange game crashing bug while playing this ET which wouldnāt be remarkable except for the fact that it happened on both PS4 and then on Xbox SS. Both times, I was running around collecting propane tanks and placing them on the ground where the target goes to smoke. Both crashes happened when I would place the third propane tank down. The crash happened on one console and then the next ā but was not recreatable.
Just something noteworthy. Wonder why.

Lol the game froze for some reason after the first time I had already killed him and collected the Ivory White, but I didnāt fail the ET due to Epicās saving system so I got another try. The first time I had killed him with an axe, but on my true final try he deserved an overkill. Never freeze my game again.

Finally done. I decided to steal the egg first, since that was going to be trickier than killing the motherfucker, plus in-story itāll seem that the egg being stolen was coincidental to his death, and through a bunch of pipe and ledge climbing, distraction triggering and coin throwing, I managed to get the egg, then used a trail of coins to lure the shithead to the puddle he kept avoiding and fried his ass with the electricity while I sipped on a glass of wine. The only disappointing parts were 1) I wasted time getting the briefcase on the second floor to lure away the guard watching over the electric switch, leaving me unobserved when hitting the button; he calls another guard to move it and never leaves, so that was a meaningless side-quest. And 2) I forgot to put the screwdriver I used to rig the electrical power strip back where I got it. I always like to put them back so in-universe nobody gets suspicious that a screwdriver is missing on the same day that somebody is electrocuted. Rookie mistake. Beyond that, it was a fun challenge and now Iāll wait for him to come to Arcade mode.

He didnāt find him until I was right near the exit.
Clean and tidy is always my preferred method, but on this occasion I was right near the exit so I wasnāt going to create a fuss over nothing.

Did it this past Sunday, and Iā¦
- Killed him with a propane tank as he smoked.
- Took me like 3 tries though, since I always had them set up too far, and was too slow to rearrange it before he continued his loop.
- Also, he only goes through the accident puddle once. I expected to be able to get him that way after following his route, but he doesnāt seem to stand in it afterwards.
- Managed to hear most of Novikovās speech for the first time, thatās how long I took!
I found out while playing this that āas the actress said to the bishopā is the original british slang for āthatās what she said!ā.
The Broker was an average target. Heās got a longer route than i expected. Also his dialogue loops, which is surprising. Usually they say all their lines, and then walk silently.
Oh nooo, I wonder who could have done this?
(tried to take a picture of him as he blew up ā I was totally setup. But flying bodies are hard to catch. None of them turned out right. How did you do it, @Beldingford?)

NVIDIA Ansel. I just used it right after flipping on the switch that caused his unfortunate death. It pauses the game so I was able to adjust the angle of the picture too. Itās only for PC though, obviously.

well, this was my first time playing this particular elusive target so I took my time and played it relatively safe. yesterday, I found the egg (little over half an hour). today, I returned and killed the guy with a bullet lure in an electrified puddle. not too messy or complicated, but still fun

Elusive Targets are just going to be a small Friday night tradition this year, for the sake of completion.
Just popping on the forum, in the threads to remember what I did the previous year, what works, and repeating it.
Also, I donāt know why, but both the second invitation check and the pat down were not present, I could just stroll in the auction.

Could I steal the egg before killing the guy?
Could I think for a sec and remember itās not H2016, now people can see me through a mirror?
Could I just in case lure away one of the guards by dropping a gun? I could even bring a throwable mine or audio distraction instead of coins, I found spare ones on site anyways.
Could I just comply when I got caught and wait for a better chance to get the egg, instead of running away and hoping for the best?
