where is the target’s drink at?

Just next to him, on his dressing table. A bottle of water. But you need to be careful when you poison it. There is a timing where you can do it without being seen, but it’s not a big one.

so an open window to poison his drink? it safe to use the emetic gun?

Yeah, it’s relatively safe.

What I did was to use the emetic gun on the hacker who stands by the laptop you need to access. That sent him to the bathroom. Once he leaves, it also triggers the target to go to the balcony and the roaming guard up there to go downstairs. The only danger left is the one other hacker who walks back and forth between the pair of desks in the one room and the laptop by the 3-d printer. It’s easy enough to avoid him while you A) get the info from the laptop, and B) poison the water bottle.

Once all that is done, just casually stroll to the nearest exit and wait for the target to return to his normal loop. He’ll drink the water and die and you can just exit the level.

I chucked the emetic frog grenadey thing we got from Ambrose drowned him, then tranquillised the two hackers did the laptop and gtfo there,

@LandirtHome @schatenjager @Charlie_Farmer alright. just asking cause the et doesn’t specify if you can use other accidents like fire since the Molotov. so i’m just trying to be cautious on what i do.

  • Fire
  • Fall (of the target)
  • Fall (of something on the target)
  • Electrocution
  • Drowning

All are good. Drowning is a safe bet. You can also have an angle with the sieker to the target from the stairs if you want.
Mostly be on the lookout of the hackers.

Also lethal poison is fine too.

Congrats, I know you’ve been trying to get that thing like something stuck in your teeth, glad you finally got it.

It has certainly been a bugaboo, that’s for sure. Mission accomplished though!

Wait, which water bottle are you poisoning, and why are you poisoning it? Didn’t you push the target off the balcony when he went out and the guard went downstairs?

I did that in a few practice runs but ultimately opted for the poison as it was “safer”. I didn’t want to risk anything this time and the balcony does have a possibility of the guys on the ground seeing you if you get the wrong timing.

The water bottle on the target’s desk is what I poisoned. You can also poison the one next to the info laptop with emetic poison to get that guy to go away for a while, but I just used the Sieker for that.

Easy as pie

Ah, you did that method. I thought maybe IOI had done away with that poison-counts-as-accident thing. Well, good to know the other guy can just have his drink poisoned to go away and get the same results. That’s exceedingly helpful to know. In the arcade version, I could not remember how to get the bastard to go out on the balcony.

As I was waiting at the exit, I started to worry that maybe IOI had done exactly that, but no, it’s all good.

And yeah, as soon as the hacker on the info laptop leaves, the target says something like “where did he go…guess I’ll go practice” and heads off to the balcony to practice his speech.

Thought I would mention it here - appearantly, there is an extra dialogue between some soldier on compound, praising Richard’s infiltration skills. Did anyone catch any? Only source for it is TV Tropes page, and that one is not necesarilly most reliable.

I did a standard/straightforward method for pushing him over the balcony in ET Arcade. I’ve done it SA numerous times before, but the last time I guess I was spotted pushing him over. So always take a couple seconds to check and see if anyone might be watching. :hushed:

It loses something, I think, when Diana and others insist that the target is a “master of disguise” but then they just wear the same thing the entire time. I think the Collector was the first time that a so-called master of disguise actually changed outfits, which was a nice change of pace.

This guy doesn’t live up to his reputation, I think.
