Just watched @Dani1o’s video and read @thrison’s post…
EDIT - oh, and @Raisu’s screencaps too!

drowned the lizard in the toilet by way of sieker 1. lot more safer than the other ideas.
Goddamn, that was easier than it’s ever been. Blood Money suit, fiber wire, Silverballer, lockpick, and emetic poison vial at the hidden stash in the house. I got in, got two disguises lying around, gathered the four coins available on the map, got inside the house without being spotted and without killing the camera footage, obtained the poison, put it in the drink of the hacker upstairs, read the intel, and once the hacker drank it and stepped away, as well as the guard, and the target went onto the balcony, pushed his ass over. I retraced my steps, putting the disguises back where I got them, back into the BM suit, headed back to the gate I entered the map from, threw one coin to distract the guards in front of it, and out I went. First try. That’s unusual for me and the high standards of perfection that I hold myself to. And I think I know what the key was this time: patience.
Good to see you tried and succeed it!
Real question: Does your method preclude you from picking up emetic rat poison?
It doesn’t, but whenever possible, I like to use my own so that, in-universe, assuming that somebody on each map is responsible for pest control, like a janitor or something, they know how much rat poison they have in their inventory and where they left it. If anything fishy comes up in an investigation, and they start wondering why this person got sick and had to leave their post to puke, and this other person died in an “accident” while they were conveniently away, they might try to find out why. If the substance they consumed cannot be identified as rat poison (I’m assuming the type provided by ICA is harder to trace because they designed it that way), and all rat poison in the area is still accounted for, that is more likely to rule out somebody slipping some into the person’s drink, and make it seem like it was just a thing, helping maintain the illusion of coincidence and an honest accident.
That’s what I did with this ET. The only things that were different from how they were when I began the mission, other than the target being dead of course, are that three of the coins lying about are gone and another was found and picked up by an NPC, one HX-10 was found lying on the ground and put away (not exactly unusual given the Colorado compound), and one gate was unlocked that had been left locked, and anybody could have opened it and forgotten to lock it. Everything else is left untouched and the two disguises inside placed right back in the bags they came from, no one the wiser. If Grey tells any of his people to investigate what happened, even though he will know what really happened, the rest of the militia will just think one guy got randomly sick and The Chameleon just got careless with his theatrics and fell to his death.
Outrageous skill. Well played!
I started at the greenhouse with a lockpick, tranq gun and coins. Grabbed the Elite disguise and got into the house, where I batted a hacker unconscious, lockpicked the bathroom door and dumped him into the closet.
When the other hacker came by for a cup of joe, I tranqqed him. Dick got restless and decided to go for a smoke, but with a couple strategic coin placements I shoved him over the indoors railing to his death before escaping through the gate. SA.
Yeah but isn’t rat poison put out for rats? And if that’s the case, wouldn’t a possible logical assumption be that a rat took the poison and that’s why that poison isn’t there anymore?
I was always of the impression that the rat poison isn’t strategically set out, as it is still in its container, and hasn’t actually been set out to be used yet.
I swear the hardest part of this ET is to escape instead of completing the objectives, I almost got caught because the camera enforcer stopped while I was luring him in the server room (I managed to get my SA).
Suit only in Colorado is so dammed nerve wracking. But I did it. Started at the West Bridge, and snuck inside, seikered the two hackers and poisoned his water & stole the info form the laptop, and then back out to wait in the grass for him to die. ![]()
My method had a bunch of close shaves. Firstly I started out as a technician and got the Elite Guard disguise, nearly getting spotted but I knew it was safe. Then I got to the top floor, clearing it out of people. Eventually all the closets were full with only the hackers and the target left. I kalmered the hackers to ensure that any discovery wouldn’t ruin SA, then hurriedly threw a bust at the target as he saw me. Dumped him down the stairs and narrowly escaped a hacker spotting me near the body. Unfortunately, I ran straight into a camera, leading to me having to shoot the box and run to the bridge.
Poison counts as an accident kill under the complication? And I was certain it didn’t.
Seems so. I understood the “non-explosive accident” to just mean don’t blow him up. The first time I played this one i knocked out everyone on the second floor and then pushed him off the balcony, but I wanted to do something different this time.
Since they got rid of the kill requirement on the arcade I decided to do a fiber wire suit only run… FUCK ME, first ET I’ve failed since 2018.
At least clarify on the blog post or something that the complication is mandatory now
. Thank God that happened on a secondary account, my OCD wouldn’t have let me check the career page again if it was my main account.
Moral of the story: never go AFK on the forums
Rango is truly a great movie.
