Never thought that a new ET was on the run in Hitman 3. I personally thought that after the release of the different H3 ET it would be over and the team was concentrated on Freelancer.

Without reading anything else and simply looking at the trailer…I’m assuming it will be in Berlin because of the lighting, soundtrack, and the fact that Dimitri Vegas is a DJ. I’m not the biggest fan of ETs but it’s still exciting, it’s something new!
Also, it looks like they deepfaked 47’s face on a real dude? The evidence that points to that is the weird lip sync action and the fact that it looks too real. Doesn’t look awful, only kinda obvious.
Or…perhaps this is a little preview of Glacier’s new engine!

Yeah this is how I see it as well to be fair. Would be cool if this is set during Freelancer days, like what it appears to indicate. I’ve noticed there’s no reference of the usual ‘ICA Approved’ on the contract, so it’s either set towards the back end of the WOA timeline when Diana and 47 drifted away from the ICA and sided with Lucas Grey, or during 47’s Freelancer days, which seems the most likely!
Either way, can’t wait to play it! Thanks IOI

I’m now expecting something better than the Flying Parrot Bomb, the RFID Deceivers, the Stowaway Lie Detector Electrocution and the Collector Long Range Dart Gun kill combined. No pressure.

I just hope this one is permanent for the game and we can see it in ET Arcade too. Also, 47’s dialogue and face for the trailer were pretty off for the character.

The previous celebrity ETs have had a lot of dialogue attached to the character, so if anything it should be fun to follow the guy around for a while…

Surely they’ll do it closer to when the patch drops in August (even though its technically not the Fall).
During “Y1” the new H3 ETs were going the live the same week as the patch release - this was because otherwise the ETs were going “live” weeks early because they were made playable via Peacock because the patches had added all required data. IO weren’t overly happy that gameplay of the ETs were showing up in advance of the official go-live date.
Unless they’re releasing a patch specifically for this ET closer to its release of course…

The idea is to release it to celebrate IOI’s 25th. That means it’s likely to drop closer to that actual date. The august patch will likely take care of that and they’re probably announcing this now prior to the patch so that if anyone noticed anything added to the game implying an upcoming ET it won’t get spoiled.

IO’s issue with Peacock adding the ETs early was because gameplay was showing up all over YouTube not because people knew of the ETs in advance. Having gameplay appear early led to comments when the ET was officially live of “well this isn’t new, I saw this weeks ago. boring”.
Travis mentioned this during one of the livestreams and said they weren’t pleased this was happening at all and then they changed the roadmaps going forward so the ET and patch were always on the same week. So they really weren’t thrilled that they took steps to counter it.
I can’t imagine two years later they’re just going to give zero fucks - especially if the ET is seen over a month early.

Guys so elusive i had to google him (i feel old sorry) it sounds like it would be on Berlin but maybe the slap contest in Ambrose could be replaced by a set up, some simple assets and some new NPCs, thats what I expect (on any map they choose) but i would love more, but going by the other hitman 3 ETs i don’t expect any more

They could also differ from the roadmap and have an ET specific patch go out.
I don’t know the guy. But I’m looking forward to play this elusive target! I predict that we will have to eliminate him in Berlin.

August 25, September 1, and September 8 are already filled with ETs and I don’t think they’d change what’s already established on the roadmap. I suppose they could have The Drop drop on August 18, but they’re already releasing the Trinity Pack and the Sarajevo Six the day before and surely they’d want The Drop to be the sole focus when it launches.
In Year 1 not all ETs went live the same week as the patch. The Lust patch on July 27 also included The Procurers which didn’t launch until September 3. The Envy patch on September 28 included The Rage which didn’t launch till October 29.
