It would have been nice if they had added some new (or even re-added) starting locations to the new Special Assignment version of The Undying. Could have added more replayability, like The Herbalist Assignment. I’ve done most of these challenges before. They’re not really that inspired. Three of which being suggested in the briefing or from obvious scripted queues. I hope the rest of the Celebrity ETs are more in line to The Herbalist’s Special Assignment contract rather than this one. Still love the addition of permanent ETs without silly restrictions and anti-consumer time limits and instant fail conditions. ---

I would hope the Undying would be the assignment that has the least, considering it’s the celebET that’s the simplest, with very minimal changes. I would hope there could be more opportunities in the other missions, for alternative starting locations and such since they change the map more. ---

I wish IO would hurry up and fix the lighting in the meeting room in this ET. They broke it in H3/WoA long before the content was ever used for the first time outside of H2. When The Undying returns or The Undying Returns returns again (probably sometime next Spring), it would be funny if they made an Undying Returns Assignment with 5 other assassination challenges different from ones found in the Undying Assignment! ---

The infuriating part about The Undying lighting being broken is that they temporarily fixed it while shooting the briefing video for The Herbalist - because its fixed there. The special assignment mission crashes the game like every other time I restart it, really annoying to try to play it at all. ---

I’ve already completed the whole set of challenges for Undying Assigment and I’m happy that they finaly added that ET to pernament Special Assigment. But to be honest - it’s done without any effort. The challanges are bland, many of possibilites are not included. 90% of challanges can be done in the same way. I hoped that they’ll put a more challanges into play. For example, let’s say you can kill Marek in three ways, which are mentioned during the conversation: throwing him off a balcony, poisoning him in a glass, and killing him with a knife. Then there’s blowing him up with a bomb or impaling him on a pen, preferably with some additional requirements so it’s not so obvious. Mark also mentions that he enjoys public executions, so for example, a way to throw him down the aisle directly into the tech show below would make it public. There are plenty of ideas. Comparing to The Herbalist, this ET is super flat after time. Still had fun tho - even if I’ve done that ET dozens times already. At least they could have added new starting positions and unlocked them through challenges, for example, starting as one of the specialists in a mission. Unfortunately, this SA is no different from regular ET or AET. ---

Seems like personal challenges are coming up more and more lately. You can do that! Since it’s an assignment and you can play it as many times as you want, make that public execution a reality! Throw Faba onto the race track! You don’t need a point-earning challenge to do it! ---

I agree, I think personal challenges dont fill the progression void in our hearts: the herbalist assignment is so great because your challenges unlock new ways to play the mission and the mission rewards replays with substantially new methods of play. Undying assignment lacks that rn ---
