Diana specifically says in the 2nd one that 47 may remember this one, and then says at the end that she feels she’s repeating herself. It’s clear that they’ve had this conversation before. I still count it as 47’s record being intact technically, since the contract was still open by Faba coming back, and since there’s no one else to pass it along to, it’s still assigned to 47 and he just hasn’t completed it yet. Plus, the 2nd round can be seen as confirmation of Faba’s ability to survive severe trauma that would kill another person, so it can be considered that 47’s 1st attempt was a test run to see if Faba really was just living through unbelievable shit like Rasputin, or if he was pulling some body-double shenanigans. With confirmation of which one it was, 47 stopped playing around and got serious, making the Returns version the definitive final time Faba ever came back (unless IOI deals with Sean Bean again for a legit third round, but I don’t see it).
Honestly these bits of dialogue feel like they’re directed more at the player than 47 himself (she could easily have talked to 47 about Faba as some kind of “ICA legend” before without him ever being sent to kill Faba).
I just played the 2 briefings back to back and was surprised to hear that aside from these two sentences Diana’s tone sound very different in the second one, so IOI seems to have recorded her dialogue twice while they could easily have reused most of the first one’s?
Really, really don’t think so. And you know I of all people here would take any out to preserve 47’s record as straightforwardly as possible, but Diana is definitely disgruntled at having to go over a target a second time with 47 of all people.
SA/SO 1KO(the target)/NE, disabled the cameras from the garage, sneaked upstairs though there and used a gun lure to unlock the challenge (you have plenty of time)
Surprising this is the original ET this time, also I could’ve easily avoided a KO (there’s a hose + generator in the same area) but I wanted my unlock.
Wonder why they haven’t been releasing CelebrET stats on X for this one? Seems strange.
