He just insta-dies and the game makes him fall and the blast has no effect on him.
I tried to shoot him in the leg with the Kruger and he dies from that too. He probably only has 1 HP like the Prisoner in Marrakesh.
I really liked this ET, however there are some missed opportunities, I’d say after the proposal it ends abtruply.
Pritchard goes to sit,Valiant stays in his office and that’s that.
He doesn’t even get notified once the clones are dead, nothing. Still, it was so much more fun, than the previous two celebrity, tough I enjoyed the Wildcard and the Undying more.
That being said:
Clone 1 : had a bathroom accident
Clone 2: had a mishap with the sauna door
Clone 3: is missing, nobody knows; last seen doing splits
Clone 4 : his neck got caught in something very thin
Clone 5 : was killed by Number 4, in an explosion
Clone 6 : demonstration gone wrong
Clone 7 : seems like after all that dancing he jumped over a railing
After that, some meatsoup was made, the doctor wasn’t very amused and heavily implied a possible death for the researcher once Valiant hears about it.
Finally Valiant had a good ol’ bullet in his head, after calling 47 a carrot.
I just barely got caught hiding a body by a civilian who reported me to one of the clones in the shooting range. Knowing my luck if I hadn’t interrupted the shooting range routine I very likely would’ve met up with the kill box glitch since using the weapons as a distraction was my gameplan for the two clones there. At least I managed to eliminate the target as well as all his clones and get out alive.
Just noticed that a new bundle was released on 12th December at the PsStore alongside the Splitter ET.
The Celebrity Bundle adds Undying , Drop & Splitter for 9.99€.Quite better deal !!!
Probably this pack confirms(?!) that there will be no more new celebrETs & apparently the Freelancer cosmetics for Disruptor at the safehouse will be forever(?!) greyed out for us who didn’t bought the dlc…
I already wished for a bundle back when Disruptor launched but sadly this doesn’t include Makeshift & Street Art cosmetics for a full Freelancer wall of weapons …
P.S. While downloading the latest patch today , I tried offline mode & realised that 7DS maps do NOT work offline…
I should have expected this since they are essentially Escalations and they need server support , BUT they are also paid DLC & they should have an offline mode , similar to the Sarajevo Six dlc.
Well…let’s add this fix to my next wishlist ![]()
Happy Holidays Agents !!!

Update: i see that IOI has addressed the issue and put a reset on the ET, very nice and smart move guys ![]()
Stay careful anyway ![]()
I kind of disagree. I actually haven’t overused the pen kill method in my playthroughs, because I haven’t replayed some of these levels (Landslide, Dubai, Mendoza, The Undying) so much like many of you, so maybe I’m just not personally tired of it.
I would love a unique item unlock that is a “portable, placable pen/skyscraper model”. I want to be able to take this item into any map, place it on a table or ledge where I anticipate any target going and stopping for a second during their route, and smack their head down for an SA kill. That’s a whole new unique item that opens up fresh gameplay opportunities – something we are regularly looking for in this game.
Thank you! I haven’t played the ET much but when I heard this line I figured someone had already felt the need to try. Appreciate your sacrifice!
Thank you, I was wondering what caused this clone to go to the locker room.
Yeah this is such BS lol.
Agreed. There should be something like the original trailer for Kickboxer on the tape if you play it in Sapienza.
Whao!
Jesus Christ.
Same, was wondering about that. Thanks.
Stray thoughts:
- The bugs suck! I would have been quite emotional had I suffered those unnecessary deaths. Glad they are getting fixed and y’all have another shot.
- Yes, this level needs a Suit Only option. That’s an egregious oversight/call.
- At first I was annoyed by this other decision but I’ve come around and it makes sense that JCVD is an enforcer to Pritchard’s disguise.
- I like that there’s dialogue you won’t otherwise hear, if you run and get to the meeting before Pritchard and the other ICA guard. I do not like that JCVD just stays in his office once the tour is over.
- Slowly squishing the splitting Splitted… was amazing.
- The on-rails but then Hitmany im-sim nature of this mission makes me feel, like some missions before, like we are playing proto-Project 007.
- The DLC items are underwhelming. I do like the robe, but yeah the items aren’t interesting.
- I somewhat rescind my criticism of JCVD’s voice acting. It’s mostly OK. He’s Belgian and has an accent, but come on guys he’s been in Hollywood for decades and he knows how to pronounce English words. There are however some words that he completely butchers and some sentences that he fumbles through… but on the whole it’s much more fun and less try-hard than McGregor’s acting.
If I’m no mistaken the hammer and scyte from Janus’ basement can also be used for a similar kill.
Any of those would make for a great unlock.
Oooh, I love this! Yeah, make that the item.
… and then make a couple reskins.
Well this was the most fun I have had playing Hitman since they released The Andaman Islands. IO finally listened to my one trick to improve the ETs, completely removing the “elusive” part of it. (Because I am no fun)
A nice level with some good kills (I wanted to do the compactor kill the moment I saw him there), a Best of the Worst-worthy plot and the Muscles From Brussels himself playing the villain.
If you tranq the clone doing the splits the machine he’s in goes all derpy and clips through the nearby corridor ![]()
It’s all gone a bit Mike.
And, finally done. Finished both levels of the Arcade and the main ET mission at last today.
I did the Arcade first to familiarize myself with what the possibilities were, and kept screwing up in some little fashion or other that on the 4th or 5th try, I just said screw it and didn’t restart, resigned to not getting an SA on the first level, I just wanted to get it done. The second level, the more difficult and restrictive one, oddly enough, got done on the first try, no restarts, SA, done practically flawlessly.
Then, did the actual ET and it was done on the first try, exactly the way I wanted it to be. Aside from a few KOs of non-target NPCs and one thrown emetic canister to get a couple gawkers out of the way, here’s the exact order and method of target elimination:
Clone 6 - Punched in the throat
Clone 2 - Trapped in the sauna
Clone 1 - Smothered with the weight bar
Clone 3 - Crushed in the split test pistons
Clone 4 and 5 - Explosions from golf ball bomb and leaking gas tank, respectively
Unfinished clones - Boiled alive
Clone 7 - Shot in the head with the Silverballer
Max Valiant - Garroted with the fiber wire
A perfect run. Thank you, Jean-Claude Van Damme, for your services.
After playing the ET and finishing the arcade a couple of times here are my impressions:
Overall pretty good mission when you’re not dropping dead out of nowhere. The kills are cool, Van Damme’s character is cool, his acting is cheesy but fun, unlike McGregor’s that was cringy and Vegas’ that was boring.
I do have some complaints however:
1: I don’t like the forced disguise start, this completely ruins my mandatory playthrough of killing the target while wearing the same clothes as them, besides, the street guard disguise is very powerfull in this mission, you can go pretty much everywhere in the facility without consequences. A suit start could have been great for adding extra difficulty, increasing the replay value.
2: You start following the mission story. This makes killing Valiant without emetics a pain in the ass in repeated playthroughs. If you don’t want to deal with the demonstration then you have to get rid of Pritchard every single time, otherwise you’ll have to wait a lot to even get a chance of killing Valiant. A way to willingly trigger the mission story (just like the Dave Ready MS on The Undying) would have helped on getting rid of unnecessary waiting and making Valiant less of a chore.
3: There’s not much replay value. Each clone has only like one or two ways of killing them and, as cool as some of those kills are, it becomes very repetitive on multiple playthroughs, especially on clones like the one doing the split on the machine and the one dancing. I also didn’t like that you are forced to go the server room every time to kill the unfinished clones, this is exactly like the Sapienza Virus. There should have been more ways to get rid of them just like with Soders.
The most disapointing target is Valiant. Since he is main target I expected him to have a more interesting route with plenty of opportunities, but the only cool kill he has is the explosive golfball which you can miss, then, he just stays in his office and the only kind off interesting way of killing him is with the pen.
It seems to me that IO keeps designing these ETs as if they are still one time only missions, but they forget there is an Arcade where you can play them as many times as you want, so adding variety and freedom to the player is important.
Used Peacock to remove the forced disguise start on this and quite easily got a 4:10 SA/SO run. Though the mission clearly wasn’t ever going to have a suit-only method officially because the shooting range area is a legal area in the suit and none of the new NPCs (researchers and clones/Max) are enforcers to the suit either.
So the forced disguise entry must’ve been there quite early on into the creation of this.
I hope we get a proper minimap for this mission in the next update because there are lots of changes from the main mission.
I’ve been going for the longest time to get onto the info-graphic! Sadly it crashed around 22 hours in on both of my attempts. I really love this mission and I’m looking forward to seeing who gets the longest time as I am going to complete the mission normally!
Also Just now I realized that most of the sinks old and new in the ICA facility have an infinite distraction range!
