So I’ve played around with the RFID explosive, testing how close it needs to be to the coin to blow up (about one car’s length).
And I think I’ve got a good strategy to kill him in a satisfying way – as he escapes.
Just, before I do anything: when does he officially “escape”, ending the mission?
Is it just after he gets near his van? Does he interact with the door? Just wondering if this is too risky and I might fail because of it.

Based off of Euler’s picture, when he gets to the drivers door he has officially escaped.

I did a variation on this - shot him with the Sieker, then shot the guard with the second Sieker round and pushed him in while the guard was doing the “Hmm, where shall I puke?” turn-around-and-pause.
Normally I’d be a little underwhelmed, but it seems to suit the target here.

Hit his guard with the emetic pen while they were looping the greenhouse, then lured him to the box by the fuse and shot him in the head. Saw the paper he dropped, and deduced where the painting was.
Fun stuff, was hoping there would be more stuff inside the house, guess that happens if you give him time to change, but I spawned as landscaping staff, so I saw him right off.

Well that was easy. Brought a Kalmer-2 tranq, black almonds dagger, and a coin. Started as gardener. What I did was wait for the target to enter the shed, when he got to the broken machinery I used the tranq on the other gardener inside, his guard, then sliced him with the dagger. Then for the painting, just got a waiter disguise, dear god I searched the entire mansion and almost gave up, eventually found it and realised that they patched the leap of faith.
SA, no reward

So sick. I completed the mission and stole the painting before assassinating the collector but was not given the optional objective. Has it happened to others?
Weird, I did the same, yet got 5 stars.
Some had this issue. If you still can, restart, and try another knife and make sure to not hold any large item in your hand. Something is glitchy there.
Better to do it so it doesn’t come back to bite you in the back side haha

Were you holding a briefcase when you cut out the painting? I saw this bug reported a few times on the subreddit. This is so shitty man. Missing out on 5 stars because of a bug and you can’t even restart the thing once you’ve completed it. Looking at the bright side, you at least don’t miss out on the challenges required for ET related unlocks if you got SA.

No, no briefcase. I used a knife to take the painting. Then the collector arrived and not seeing him complained that he was no longer there.
