Elusive Target #3: THE COLLECTOR (Year 5: 7 - 16 March 2025)

This is the plan. The challenges are now in-game and visible for everyone.
If you completed the challenges before we added them in, we’ll unlock them for you shortly after the ET duration has expired.

I’ve never followed him long enough to know this was an option. Thank you for letting me see it; this changes some of my methods going forward. Although I prefer using the propane flask in the fireplace, this will be a really good strategy to use in the hide-all-bodies Arcade contract. Any other place to deal with him on that one requires an extra step or two.

You are welcome :slightly_smiling_face: You can also kill him on his own just after he changes his disguise when he starts to head upstairs. You gotta be careful tho, because of the Security Guard patrolling the lower part of staircase as he paces back in forth constantly. Timing is key! But you would not be able to hide the body unless you subdue or KO the Security Guard. No way you can drag his body unless you deal with that guard first. Not enough time to drag his body unseen unfortunately.

If you just wait in the first floor bathroom, you can just take him out while he’s changing his disguise very easily. There’s a laundry bin right there too for body disposal. It takes some waiting for him to get through his circuits of the greenhouse and great room, but it’s easy, clean, and there’s minimal danger of being caught.

There’s a maid inside though. She’ll see in the mirror.

Just knock her out and stuff her in the bin.

No go. There’s only one bin in that room, and so to put her and then the target in there would violate the Heisenberg Parameters of Perfection (HPP), which states:

“An unconscious NPC and a target corpse shall not occupy the same hiding space.”

You have some very specific rules for playing this game, but you do you.

Hey, if it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right.

I play these games as if it’s real and I’m legitimately 47. I try to ask myself, “what is the most perfect, no witness, no evidence way of playing this if it was actually happening,” and then I do that.

well i know your thing Heisenberg any et comes out ether a he or she you be like im gonna enjoy their deaths

Oh, for sure.

If I decide to straight murder them, nobody’s going to be able to point at any piece of evidence other than a corpse and maybe an unconscious civilian or two.

If I decide it’s gonna be an accident, nobody will know an assassination even took place, and any unconscious people simply slipped on a banana or passed out due to taking too many tranquilizers while on duty, completely innocuous things like that, nothing suspicious there, the target just happened to light a cigarette next to a leaking gas canister at the time they had passed out; a freakish coincidence, but a mere act of God all the same.

That’s how you play Hitman according to the Heisenberg Parameters of Perfection.

well then Heisenberg Parameters of Perfection hahahaha thats brilliant

the first thing i do is to destroy the evidence cause i forgot the first thing in my head not in dartmoor theres no cameras but any locations

Somehow I think some people would have a stroke watching me play this game…

whats your gameplay like

Based off of some of the descriptions you’ve given elsewhere on the forum, you’re probably right. It hurt me to read them. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Ha! I don’t generally care about doing things “SA” as a matter of course. I’ve done every map that way for the purposes of getting that challenge unlocked, but as far as Elusive Targets, Contracts (featured or otherwise), replays of campaign levels, etc., it’s just not important. I almost never play the game “suit only” (except for a specific challenge if there is one) and I hate using tricks or glitches - so no gun lures, three bullet tricks, or any of that stuff.

I generally will try to hide bodies, avoid letting other people see me doing illegal stuff, and I try not to get into firefights. I don’t have any rules about only doing accident kills or ensuring that no non-targets are involved (though I try not to kill non-targets).
