Elusive Target #3: THE COLLECTOR (Year 6: 17 - 26 April 2026)

I had a similair Situation with the Ex-Dictator, so that Target sucked anyway with Guards carying a hostile Zone with them (who even thought of that?). Anyway after being arrested for just existing on the Dictators Path, I decided to open fire, I killed Richard and I think three Guards before having to go into Cover. Not sure how I killed Ines in the End, though I somehow completed it, with a horrible rating of course, which fits this horrible ET xD.

Man, I…missed it. I need to start adding ETs to my IRL calendar.

I feel you, missed almost all original Hitman 1 ETs in their first run, when it was actually a “one shot” thing. But since you missed it, there is a big chance you can do it when they will be reactivated next year with the steam launch, so prep your calender for the next one!

I love how tense that makes it though. I had a similar experience with the Undying. I didn’t play much of H2 when it came out, between Red Dead 2 and school work hanging over me, so when I started the Undying with 9 hours left I had never so much as set foot in Miami.

That was definitely one of my favorite Hitman experiences, there’s something so special about going into a completely unfamiliar location for the first time, knowing you only have one shot at it.

That is hardcore! I often play up my Billy Big Bollocks credentials by trying to champion the #TeamNoRestarts playstyle for ETs, but going blind into an ET where you’ve never even had a go at the map via a main mission is just next level!!!

This was actually a good ET. Dude had a huge route.

Now I think of it, I actually did the same for the Revolutionary and the Appraiser, since I tried to play Hitman 2 as if it were episodic, one level a month. Definitely nerve wracking, but super exciting.

@RW_Slick I agree, was kind of bummed when I realized I missed the opportunity to drop a propane tank down the chimney while he stands near the fireplace. This target had some cool mechanics and nice kill opportunities

For anyone interested, here is OutsideXbox doing their 3 ways to play on the Collector.

Always enjoy Outside Xbox’s Hitman coverage. Jane saying that The Collector had a very 47-like MO and that “game recognise game” was hilarious!

I too enjoyed that! The way she freaked out when he changed his disguise was great! This one did throw all of them for a loop they way they kept losing sight of the target. I remember when they took out the bodyguard thinking, “no, you’re going to lose him!”.

My favorite videos to watch. May not learn much, but always hilarious

I just cannot catch a break with this mission. I got my voice (mostly) up to snuff so I was finally able to record commentary again.

ET #1, no problem.
ET #2, no problem.

This mission - audio was SNAFU, had to completely mute it so it is just me rambling. Still, with all the support the forum showed, I had to post it.

The video is on point, but since I uploaded it along with 1&2 last night, it is only HD for now. 4K available later today or whenever YouTube gets around to it.

Am I missing something? The Collector (the only one I missed) should be available now (10-16 Dec), but my PS4 is showing The Iconoclast (that I already completed).

Edit: My mistake, it’s The Procurers that I missed so never mind this question!

2 posts were merged into an existing topic: THE BROKER #2- Hitman 1 Year 2 ET in H3 (February 25th)

with this guy returning the third time in hitman 3 anyone who has not faced him will be on march 11 next friday

Methods I’ve read for taking this guy out include sending a propane flask down a chute into the fireplace in Carlisle’s office. Where is the chute that allows you to do this?

Upstairs, where you can find the shotgun

Upstairs in the same room?

Yeah, these stairs then follow them round and the chute is above the fireplace

Awesome. Now I’m ready for his ass on Friday.
