Elusive Target #35: THE INFILTRATOR feat Bruce Lee as your partner (25 September - 20 November 2025)

Two ways i can see you getting into the room

  1. wait for Ronald to leave and have the door open, then slip on in, using the computer to lure him back into the room

  2. emp device? Could that work? I haven’t tested it

Basically, you can’t kill the targets and they have to participate in the competition and lose (47 can’t be the one to defeat them), while the main target dies in a fight to the death after Lee wins the competition.

You can get in when he gets out. It is a little tricky, but I managed it, when he had to go to a fight. He left trhough the door he usually enters the office through and I sneaked in before the door closed. I did the thing on his laptop and after he won his fight, he immediately came running back into the office where I eliminated him.

Another way would be a hacking device for the doors, but you would have to distract everyone around of course. But it is a way to get in there.

And I have not tested it, but the bodyguard of Wu (the main target) has access to all rooms upstairs. Maybe that works on the office too.

I got in by placing a coin at the base of the door and bumping into the nearest NPC so he turned around and saw it. (There are even a couple of coins on a nearby table.)

That’s because he’s technically a target, so any sedative other than the Kalmer will break SA.

You can, as long as the bodies never get found. Then they’re automatically excluded from the fights because they don’t show up in time.

It’s actually pretty easy. Bump into him when he opens the door, place a coin in the room so that he goes back into it, close the door then bonk him :3

I played my actual ET run.

It’s a SASONKO, by accident.
Which is great. But in a testament to myself and to the game it’s not what I wanted to do.
I wanted to do something refined, light-touched:

  • Take the invitation from the Beauty Camberwell Lounge.
  • Re-order the tournament order.
  • Have Roland Chau eliminated by Zen.
  • Have Zen eliminated by Xiao Hu.
  • EMP Device to keycard lock of Xiao’s Room, safe code BOAT, placed antidote.
  • Have Lee cured and ready, to eliminate Xiao.
  • Then smooth sailing to the proxy-elimination of Jialong Wu.
  • Target down, Agent Lee infiltration is perfect with no suspicious deaths or illnesses of Concord Union’s Lieutenants during the tournament.
  • Just a mere guard got sick in a bathroom, disrobed in his fever, and passed out.

Then, in the Arcade, the game made Xiao Hu win against a cured Lee.
Win order also changed (saw once Xiao lose to Zen).
Sending me to failed mission screen, and a 12 hours time-out. To my distress.

So I went more direct.
And more certain.
Eliminated every Lieutenants before they even thought of starting to maybe cross Lee’s path.

  • Run to Room 206, vault, climb to penthouse.
  • Piggyback behind Roland Chau to his office.
  • :elusive_target_dark: Lethal Syringe to Roland Chau. :elusive_target_dark:
  • Talk to Lee for the sake of it, politeness, not having him stop and call 47 every time he sees him, and timing of the next step.
  • ICA Remote Micro Audio Distraction in the plants near Zen’s Room, attracts the posted guard, sneak in, Zen is in the bathroom.
  • :elusive_target_dark: Fiber Wire Xiang “Zen” Weisheng, and put in a closet. :elusive_target_dark:
  • Wait for the Xiao Hu vs M. Garcia fight.
  • She beats him in combat and to the bench.
  • :elusive_target_dark: Gym Accident to Xiao Hu. :elusive_target_dark:
  • Lee was never poisoned, won all fights, some by forfeit, and the tournament.
  • :elusive_target_dark: Bruce Lee eliminates Jialong Wu. :elusive_target_dark:
  • Exit by 8047.

I know it’s a small design detail taken for granted.

But the chairs to sit down and observe the tournament are just the right things, a true chef’s kiss to it all.
The pinch of salt to elevate the central focus of the mission.

And the meditate blend-in on the upper floor is always a favourite of mine.
Only ones missing would be a few wine sipping blend-in spots around the bars.
I just love civilian blend-in spots ^^.

I play on Xbox.
But I have a dormant steam account. For when I migrate to PC, and for me Hitman WoA will certainly end up played this way in the future.

(If only because I will then make my own silenced Classic Striker with the cut Black Lilly Mk3 model, “toward-self, in hand activated” Lure Phone, or even try my hand at modding in the Lessons Learned campaign :stuck_out_tongue: (definitively won’t be able to, let me dream a bit).)

So I think I will buy it there too, this season, to preserve future access.
For Posterity.
I think it’s deserving.

Didn’t think of that, but I found an additional way a few minutes ago. When 47 stands directly in front of the double door the guy leaves the office through, the doors will open into the office instead of out of it. Then you can walk past the guy (but he follows you into the room).

That is the fun thing about the game. There are always different ways to get things done.

Still discovering the Infiltrator mission:

Small question: what does it change in the mission when 47 tampers Chau’s computer in the small office? Did it but observed nothing. Thx.

EDIT: it attracts Chau in the room. He will quickly run to the computer.

I thought that it I may force him to check laptop just before the fight starts, so I could make him lose by walkover, but that doesn’t work that way. He ignores it and check laptop after the fight.

Btw I’ve completed Arcade mode with SA. One of greatest AETs (and most complex in good way) but I won’t play this never again. It’s quite long due to fights which force you to wait untill the very end, and this take about 40 minutes.

I used the emp , remember you can have it stashed in 47 suite when starting the load out just place it on the reader

I know this is an Elusive Target/Arcade, and doesn’t have challenges.
But I made myself one.

A Whole Man

  • As Rory Cutmore, face and win against all three Concord Union Generals, and forfeit to Lee

(yes, this is a Sleeping Dogs, pork bun reference)

Surprisingly not straightforward.

You need to go to the Penthouse to both change Chau place quickly enough, and cancel the “fast-forward” trigger that happens if you go to Cutmore first.
Then go to Cutmore.
It’s the way to have a fight against all of them.

It’s really fun to do.
It was also funny to make 47 wait his turn by just reading the journal in the bar area. :newspaper:

I could not hear it properly, but I think it made Bruce Lee have a special bark, calling 47 by name/number.
Not sure though.

For @Grim47
On the placed disguise musing.
I would personally put it in the Penthouse, in the Coat Check.
Would really tighten the whole two floors Suite full immersion interlocked design.

Room 208, I thought of it too, for the same reason. But I don’t know, I don’t feel it above the first impression of the idea.
It can transform the initial infiltration to a “one step solve all acts of the mission”, giving a key to the Penthouse puzzle as you solve the one to enter it.
Especially for how trivial 208 is to piggyback in.

It won’t integrate well in larger diverse runs, like with the Cutmore, or just the usual mix and match of dealing with the targets. Too much back and forth out of the penthouse, you know.
The mission is pretty good at embracing the microcosm of this one Suite, not leaving it once inside.
For one thing it also cut the custom soundtrack hard if you leave to come down for it. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Don’t see it in lore too.

A propos of nothing.
I am falling in love with the Kali Sticks.

(I also realised that with them and the Sangfroid Suit, we will soon have Daredevil 47 :smiling_face_with_horns:)

If a modder reads this:
Can someone see what happens if you authorize the Kali Sticks to be used like a small item in the loadout.
They are legal to carry, and freelancer make you start with it directly on 47’s back with no suitcase. Even if brought alone.

I’m curious to their behaviour this way.
It’s a shame they are smuggle only.

Both bugs! Could you help us out by posting it in the bug report thread along with any other info you can remember? :folded_hands:

You can solve it much faster. I did it SA in about 8 minutes and was out of there. Frote posted his SA run here and took under 3 minutes. There are always possibilities.

Edit: Ah, nevermind, you meant the Part 2 of the Arcade. Yeah, that one takes much too long.

To be honest any type of speedrunning isn’t my cup of tea. I’m not playing the game to finish fast as possible, but to have immersion.

So using any possible glitches or tricks in the game isn’t really my style. Things like throwing an item somewhere to corner just to make an NPC act weird, and distract other shooting with silencer to object so I can use that moment to run into a room - that’s not the way I like to play this game.

Me neither, but after playing the Arcade a few times, I just got to around 8 minutes. I mean, you find more ways to get the job done, so you get faster automatically, I guess. My first try took me about 40 minutes or so, because I just took everything in, looked around what possibilities there are and so on. My point was just, that there is always a way to get things done faster than one might think.

And I don’t use gitches either. You can get this mission done in a few minutes without any of that. All I brought was a door key hacking device, a sieker and a sedative syringe.

I can put my strategy in here hidden:

Summary

Down the stairs and to the back of the hotel. Climb up pipe and through the window. Through the gym up the stairs, climb and hack the door to the tortured guy. Grab knife (optional). Wait for Wu and his bodyguard in the next room. Sedate bodyguard with syringe. Kill Wu (with knife). Disguise as bodyguard. Run over to the room of the bandana guy. Kill him. Down the stairs. Sieker the girl. Wait for the other guy to get into his office. Follow him in. Kill him. Drown the girl in the toilet. Find an Exit.

When I find the time, I will try again with “classic” loadout silenced gun, coins and fibre wire, but that won’t be done in a few minutes for sure. But there will be a way. There always is. That is the great thing about this game.

No issue.

  • Zen winning against Xiao was fresh in memory, but fortunately does not impact the mission success.
  • Xiao winning against a cured Lee had to be reverse engineered from the few seconds of capture I had the apparent right idea to save up after the fact. (thank God for the “record last minute of play” option)
Fortunate, because it leads to a mission failure.

I have found and posted the steps of tournament swaps to reproduce them.
At least it did for me.

Hope it helps
(hope even more that it’s only for me, and not universally reproducible)
