Elusive Target #37: EMINƎM vs. SLIM SHADY (Year 6: 27 July - 23 August 2026)

Oh shoot is it Agent Smith then? Would make sense I guess
(But this is hardly the first time 47 has taken a disguise from a KO/Dead person, c’mon Diana should be used to seeing him strip!) :joy::smirking_face:

Wow look at you easter egg master, thanks.
Aw that’s too bad then

Correct

Ah yes, thank you. I forgot about the Overalls.

Then the logical explanation is that the ET should default start you in the Slim Shady robe, and it’s bugged.

There’s two guards who patrol up and down the outside of the hospital (by the mountain path) that you might like. Specifically commenting on how stupid Slim Shady’s vocabulary is.

Does anyone know the specific spawn locations of the Fairy Lady? I heard she drops a key to the basement, and that’s the only way you can get inside (can’t break it open, there’s no crowbar option)
(And there’s some sort of secret down there?)

Trying to do this SASO. I found her appearing outside the Hospital Bathroom, but she doesn’t react to distractions, so getting her there without being seen will suuuck.

If you follow the mission story then she just hands it to you, but I don’t think the mission story can be done SO. Also you can just shoot the door open lel

Well this mission was fuckin’ weird even by Hitman standards.

I couldn’t get the manual or whatever in the weird house, so I just blew the personality out of Eminem’s head from a distance with a Silverballer and jumped into the bathroom mirror to run off. Still got the Jason outfit from it.

Is this the last of the promised Celebrity ETs?

Just found it by watching a YouTube video: It’s possible to kill Slim Shady with the help of Eminem.

Here is the video (from the YouTube channel AJ Nguyen)

You can also use the Bomb Ass Dynamite, or any other explosive

After playing these past couple of days I think this is one of the worst CelebrETs.

The weird is not funny, disturbing or anything it’s trying to be. It just seems forced. Voice acting is plain bad. Mission and kill opportunities seem underdeveloped.

The Le Chiffre-mission remains my favorite.

Alright, this was an interesting mission. It’s quite cornball, but that is simply who Eminem/Slim Shady is — self aware, excessive swears, crass for the sake of being crass — it suits this mission in particular. It was fun! But it did feel markedly un-Hitman and took me out of the game at times, especially when this message popped up:

…like, I get why that is there and it’s useful for anyone who streams. One can also see they’re trying to gain popularity for WOA on Twitch. It just felt weird to me and is a reminder that this game is getting bigger.

Putting that aside, it was crazy and it also felt like the 8th deadly sin lol. Definitely want to replay it for full value, there’s some unique stuff that I did not get to explore yet like the s’ghetti sandwich cloning machine. Oh and the portals! Useful, and I liked how you had to wait until people were looking away to jump in.

In the end, I did the mission story with the brain chip thing. There was a bug and I couldn’t kill Slim the intended way though, sadly. (When Slim Shady stood facing the mirror, the “push” prompt appeared early and I immediately pressed it, making it disappear and his model became uninteractable unless I used a throwable lethal melee). Kind of killed the mood more than the target.

Basically: fun times! Strange but fun

In the restaurant and some parts of the basement, yes

Lol. I actually did the mission last night. Spent most of my time just exploring around before committing to a kill-run.
So, I saw the Mixing Table and based on the Mission Story title/description, I thought that it had something to do with that.

So I ALSO thought that the Basement/Mirror opportunity thing was like a non-tracked mission story, something secret.

Nah, lol, I ended up doing like half of the mission story suit-only before I realized oh, I gotta change out of it to complete it. Aw well.
Makes sense the most “cinematic kill” is the one they want to guide you on, but I really thought I was on to something there.

Also screw you licensed music warning, I recorded it anyway. If you escape the bathroom fast enough you also escape a copyright strike, I hope.

Diana didn’t say Fuck though. :frowning: I thought the Mirror Kill got Diana to say fuck… How do I let her say fuck..??

Anyway I think it’s a decent mission. A good 3 or so intended paths to killing Slim it seems.

I think Eminem’s narration in the mission is fairly flat and plain. But I actually like his Slim Shady voice and he seems to actually put some effort into it! (Probably because its a long running “persona” of his I guess.) He uses a higher pitch, starts slurring his S’s I think (or something like that)

I really liked the back and forth between Em and Diana. Was nice.
Also finally, we basically get a full 7DS with Diana as the crazy narrator. They really leaned into that the further they got into the 7DS, but always used other voice actors. Cool to hear Jane Perry’s wacky range.

PS5 user here – also got some major frame drops when standing in front of the TV Screens when Slim does his show. And also when standing inside the Mixing Booth while he does the show. Anyone else get this? Weird.

I really like how IOI have changed Hokkaido with reworked areas, new props and new NPCs with new outfits and I had a lot of fun exploring the new Hokkaido.

At first, I thought calling the restaurant “Mom’s Spaghetti” was a bit cringey and the devs were trying too hard to be cool and make this about Eminem. But then I learned that he has an IRL restaurant with that name, so I guess having it in game is fair. The sandwich replicator was weird at first, but since the whole mission is just a dream and everything only exists in Eminem’s imagination, it makes more sense. Same with Em’s assistant, that can make herself appear and disappear in different spots on the map. I saw some people criticising the whacky nature of the mission, but I actually like it. While I wouldn’t want all of Hitman to be like this, I appreciate IOI mixing up the old formula and trying new things. It’s fun.

The mirrors were another interesting touch and they were exciting for me at first. I enjoyed exploring them and figuring out, what was going on. But to be honest the novelty quickly wore off and I didn’t really need them in my gameplay.

In the end eliminating Eminem was a bit too easy for my taste. I discovered the spaghetti sandwich opportunity early on and got him with it. At that time, I hadn’t even been in his studio and seen that part of the map, so completing the mission this way felt very anticlimactic. And with the oil canister it’s even easier. Eminem conveniently stops outside with his guards further back, so the canister and another well-placed explosive to trigger the explosion of the oil makes this one of the easiest ETs to figure out and complete, that I can remember. I wish there was more to this mission, but maybe The Infiltrator, which had many more targets and objectives has just set my expectations too high.

On a final note, I want to mention the unlockable Mom’s Spaghetti sauce from the DLC. To my best knowledge this is the first non-lethal melee item, that knocks NPCs out, that you can bring three times into a mission. Could be an interesting item for contracts.

Ooh so it’s a Triple Brick!

Does a regular brick do that? I thought only the purple one.

Sorry I play this game a lot but I do forget stuff.

Another perk of Mom’s Spaghetti is, that it can defy gravity :squinting_face_with_tongue:

She said it on mine, so not sure what happened there?

I haven’t fully tested it, so this is just a theory - but I’ve had her say fuck when completing the mission story while it was activated/tracked once, I’ve had her not say fuck when the mission story was completed without it being activated/tracked once.

Could be random which line plays, or thats the trigger I guess.

EDIT: I just did three runs. The first two, I listened to the doctor’s conversation on the phone so I had the “MISSION STORY REVEALING…” and “MISSION STORY REVEALED” messages. Diana consistently said fuck across both runs when Slim Shady was killed via the mirror.

On the third run I didn’t let the phone conversation play out and insta-emetic’d the doctor, she did not say fuck when Slim Shady was killed via the mirror. So I assume letting the mission story reveal is the trigger for the line.
