Until now, maintenance has typically been scheduled for 11:00 AM CET as a matter of convention.
This time, it seems maintenance will be conducted at a much later hour.
Is there a particular reason for delaying the time?

Probably so it lines up with a āPlay Nowā/launch trailer that will debut at IGN Fan Fest, since IO is confirmed to be there tomorrow.
Has happened before that maintenance was delayed to coincide with a trailer at an event. Happened with The Banker - under the guise of āemergency maintenanceā (which everyone saw through anyway).

I was thinking about this today. The past celeb elusive targets āunique killsā have been other people taking your target out which I kinda find tame when they are just getting shot or beaten to death we need something awesome
I did think maybe they will use the quarantine unit kill from sapienza if itās something stored like a virus

Or, if theyāre really gonna lean into the nods to Resident Evil, you arrange things so that an NPC blows the target up with a rocket launcher! They did it with the turret in Marrakesh, why not this?

Interesting choice of words here, considering in the original Resident Evil game, or at least its remake, the day that the main protagonists were supposed to enter the mansion and battle the mutants inside in order to gather combat data was referred to by Umbrella as āX Day.ā Considering that weāre experiencing a countdown to a special day of our own, Iāll borrow the quote from them here.

Yeah, and itās a dedicatedly selected time.
The IGN Fest stream will come an hour before the maintenance ends. 007: First Light and HITMAN WoA are scheduled at 10th and 11th places. Assuming around 5-6 minutes per trailer, it does make sense.

But what do you expect? After all, for months now, thereās been the same loop, plus some unlock reskins. Based on existing roadmaps from previous years, you could easily draw another one, and it would be almost identical to the actual one.

I wonder if one of the new Twitch drops will be the drop that the winner of the speedrun competition at the end of last year won playing a hand in designing it or if thatās coming later in the year.
