Yeah, as a fellow veteran I do understand your point too. I just hope that the ET itself remains approachable from all ways where you can still complete the mission without being stuck inside the mission story (similarly to JCVD where you had to kill the clones) but if this has a patient zero element to it, it is plausible that we could be additionally tasked with eliminating any bio weapon/viruses/infected patients that the ET has been doing in Dartmoor!
As it is a sandbox game, I think maintaining the all approaches aspect of the game and freedom of playability for all play styles and experiences is the best way forward!
For sure Iām hoping thereās a lot of variety. Just praying thereās some good kill opportunities and Iām very intrigued to see whatās underneath the manor
If you donāt want to fail - avoid it at all costs in the Elusive Target format. Its not a āmission complete handed to you on silver platterā like past CelebrETs.
My advice is Arcade only the Mission Story. Eliminate Lilith before the story gets too far.
I donāt understand this. If an instakill is a risk in the ET, would it not also be in Arcade? Wonāt that still end the mission before you complete the mission story?
But shouldnāt the advice simply be to not follow the mission story at all? If it gets you killed in Arcade, you still canāt finish the mission, irrespective of whether you can try again later. Trying that same method again would be meaningless, so why try it in the first place? Why not simply recommend avoiding the mission story method?
An actual new time of day for an ET, not just a skybox rework like The Sensation but also changing the lighting and giving guards flashlights? A significantly reworked Dartmoor map? A bunch of other interesting stuff? Yeah it shouldāve definitely been a permanent Special Assignment.
I already thought some of the other Celeb ETs were kinda wasted by being part of the Elusive Target formula, but this one especially feels wasted. Because why engage with all the mission has to offer when the player is incentivized to take the easiest way out possible? The remote emetic gas device gets her taken out in just a few minutes.
