I got SASO in 7 mins and was pretty cloud. GenP already down to a minute. Anyone got any idea how these two got 7 seconds already?
To sum it up, they cheated.
Anyone got their IOI reward? The duck? I beat both ET and the Arcade one and itâs been far more than 24 hours by now, still nothing.
I came for a visit ![]()
Two new things I did learn
- Even if you give them an antidote to a guest on the way to their execution, they are of course dispatched of AND you get to keep Silent Assassin despite them not being a target anymore! Who know?
- Thereâs an Ether starter pack to dispatch of the infected at the default starting location!
Iâm telling you, there is so much potential for a Contracts mode⌠New items, NPC models walking around. Possibly remove the virus like Patient Zero Hokkaido and just have them walk around? That would be so beautifulâŚ
Sheâs got combat dialogue too, calls you Rieper and everything. No subtitles, itâs just her own guard dialogue.
Iâve been trying speed strats, you can Durian her through the wall but she wonât get to the bathroom until about 1:20 and her lovestruck guard will watch her puke for another 20 seconds before waiting outside, so this method isnât fast enough. If they catch you in the bathroom with her, itâll turn into a trespassing zone and theyâll instantly become hostile.
Finally played this enough to want to write something about it.
Itâs a really quite good, and I really appreciate the tie in to the Patient Zero campaign. The two stage format to the mission is great. It does, however, contain a moment like the LeChiffre poison moment where I assume a lot of people will panic and quit out of the level the laser sequence. When the third approach started and I realized I had no movement-tools to escape it I quit out and booted the mission up in Arcade because I was afraid of failing and the virus spreads way too quickly. You truly cannot expect a first time playthrough to succeed in curing everyone.
Fun, but like others have said this probably works better as a special assignment/bonus mission. Getting challenges for the mission would be great.
A bit disappointed that the bookshelf doesnât close behind her if you snipe her just as she steps in. That wouldâve been a lot more satisfying.

There is a chandelier above her in the elevator! You could snipe that instead for an accident kill if you didnât want a sniper one.
It has to be Diana, surely? Itâs not like herb acknowledges out loud that she is confined to the earpiece and not physically present
I just spent an inordinate amount of time wondering whether I missed Weird AL Yankovic being in the game⌠I will never read A I as anything other that A L for some reason.
Accusing GenP of cheating strikes me as a rather serious accusation. I hope this is just a joke
Wasnât that directed at other people with 7-second leaderboard times? Thatâs how I interpreted noodlesâ and thrisonâs posts at least. Maybe there was supposed to be a screenshot there.
Iâve now tried every possible outcome for this new mission. And I completely agree with the statement thats made before: this level of mission design is NOT suitable for the elusive target format. Itâs a super cool mission with a rather intriguing story. The subtle connection to the Patient Zero campaign is super nice. And the plot twist in the lab somewhat surprised me. Kudos to IO for putting so much effort into it by changing the NPC routes halfway through and adding extra attributes to the level.
I was a tiny bit let down about the misleading marketing media. The trailer showed some grotesque hand to hand combat with Lillith Deveroux. And I kind of expected the infected to turn into zombies.
Both were not the case in game. Also the skybox looked cooler in the promos. But I still appreciate the time of day change and the improved/new disguises in the level. Also digging up Alexaâs corpse was grim as fuck.
Maybe its time for the guys at IO to scratch their heads and try to realise that this level of effort needs to be turned into special assignments, at least. With the amount of effort put into the last few celebrETs, you couldâve easily made another bonus mission or two. Something thats been asked for since H2âs release.
Ooh, that is neat. I remember a run in Mendoza where Yates ordered a disguised 47 to shoot Vidal in the meeting, but doing so would still be a witnessed crime and make everyone panic.
Yeah it was, but it was pretty cool as well ![]()
When playing the arcade version I allowed H.E.R.B.âs lasers to hit me but nothing happened. HOWEVER Iâd strongly advise putting this to the test in the actual Elusive Target version itself.
Also sheâs completely invulnerable when sheâs behind that glass when getting the virus even from an explosive duck I gave her at the beginning of the mission.
what is the âeminem duckâ ??? iâm drawing a blank âŚor did i miss it?
I think that the Eminem duck is referring to the chainsaw duck.
thanks @schatenjager ⌠iâm a f*¢king moron
