Elusive Target #9: THE HEARTBREAKER (Year 6, 13 - 22 March 2026)

I failed to get SA, but I don’t know why. Every time I get spotted I restarted. I don’t know if there is a bug, because I don’t remember any error

Managed to poison him and nab that fifth SA.

Not A Single Huh? What? Hmm!

Agent 47 was just sitting on the bench minding his own business

This douche bag comes along & just jumps on top of me, by taking my seat which I had already taken first. How rude!

Big Mistake Creep :-1:

How this method works:

Philo Newcombe got all up in Agent 47’s private space. That was a fatal mistake! Agent 47 was sitting peacefully minding his own business, when this douche bag just pushed his way into the sitting area that Agent 47 had already taken first. Agent 47 was simply not leaving & decided to antagonise this creep :joy:. What this dipshit did not realise, was that the couple inside the cinema decided to leave Philo Newcombe on his own! Easy Prey for Agent 47 :ok_hand:.

You can’t kill the Target right away as soon as he enters the cinema. The two individuals outside the cinema area can see through the glass door & window panels. You also have the one worker who circles around the top cinema area near a security guard standing on the opposite side. He is no issue, but she can be as she circles around doing her usual pattern with a clear line of sight from above to spot you.

The only way to avoid being caught eliminating Philo Newcombe in the cinema, is to kill him @ the exact position I kill him in the video. Between the glass door & glass window panel, there is a part of the building which has no glass panel. This prevents you being seen by the two individuals outside the cinema & you MUST! time this with the workers pattern/route as she will see you too. Time this to perfection & you have the easiest kill on Philo Newcombe.

This only works by blending in first on the bench outside the cinema. Philo Newcombe will come outside & jump into your seat (designed in-game). I noticed this when testing this method out. When he does this, immediately blend in when he starts talking to you & getting all up in Agent 47’s face. This will prevent Philo Newcombe from going back inside the cinema immediately to continue talking to the couple. This creates a window of opportunity to get the target on his own & I ain’t bumping into the target either to stop him from going back inside. The douche bag just can’t help himself by being a douche . I wait for the couple to go to the top of the stairs, timed with the workers pattern/route inside the cinema so I never get caught :ok_hand:. Also kill the target just after the first few steps to avoid being seen by the two individuals outside the cinema, plus you get a clean neck snap! No KO animation :slightly_smiling_face: If you like you can use the Fibre Wire too for an easy kill in this exact position. I decided to do a No Loadout method.

Legendary Agent 47 out :smirk:

I almost thought of doing a proper Sniper Kill. I had the alignment of where to shoot at and from. But, it’d involve a distraction shot for the 2 NPCs nearby. In the end, I just kept it simple… Wish I was quicker with the PS key. I get confused with F12 being my Steam screenshot key.

Wonder how many ‘Into the water with you Mr. Fancy Pants!’ kills this makes? I went into this without any spoilers, trying to look for him and get intel on his route. After 25, 27 minutes, he seemed to stay in the theatre, keeping his route very localized and… easier.

Did anyone else notice one of the NPCs in the theatre with an… odd voice?

Holy crap I almost failed!

Didn’t want to take any risks so I did the cheap emetic device in the briefcase method. I’m comfortably drowning his ass when suddenly a guard walks into the bathroom and starts shooting :scream::scream::scream:

I miraculously managed to press pause a split second before killing the target. Avoiding a small heart attack in the process.

Upon restarting, I understood what had happen:

For some reason, after activating the emetic device, one of the girls near the target went to report to a guard that she had found a weapon. That guard then came all the way to the bathroom cuz I was holding the briefcase (the weapon he was looking for) as I was drowning the target.

Upon doing the same method a second time, I simply left the briefcase in front of the bathroom. No one came to interrupt and the target was history.

I just cut his throat with his own scalpel. But all I could think of as I was following them around to listen to the dialogue was: Harold they’re lesbians.

I did, there was a woman with an oddly deep voice.

So that’s the fourth Serial Killer ET, right?

Really liked that the first games ET’s were more grounded. Sure, there was a dictator and virologist. But we also had a food critic, a blackmailer and a hacker. Not everyone was some super-evil villain.

They still had dumb motivations for the contract on them like the Food Critic was so scathing someone killed themselves. That being said I’d like some joke ETs like Gary Busey was, I think all these new ones being so evil is to try to sell that Hitman 3 has a darker tone

I need no justifications for my kills. I get the contract, I do it in the shortest amount of time.

Thus limiting the risks of fucking up (I am trying to get a hold of all the ET-suits).

However, these ETs have all been brilliant, and I really do want to explore them more than I do.

So I really do hope they’ll release them all permanently at some point- if need be, they can add a clause to every contract too: if you do complete or fail the contract, you have to wait 48 hours until you can try again. I would be okay with that, I guess.

Some had pretty good motives and backstories like the Bad Boy, the Blackmailer or the Forger.

ETs are a good way to have more mundane targets. Which is why I really like the Liability. Not a Serial Killer or Hitman. Just a lazy Safety Inspector, even though they made him ridiculously lazy.

Bit disappointed by it being in Mendoza again, especially because we already had one target in this location earlier. I did miss The Liability in Berlin and the twin, making it feel like it was Mendoza twice in a row.

I found a easy way to get rid of him, I placed the Siker 1 (vomit dart gun) inside the Cinema’s hidden stash. Shot him once with the vomit dart gun, went to the outside staircase and placed a lot of coins a long the way. Resulting in the soon to wife and wife couple picking up some free coins, while Philo continued his quest to find a place to throw up. He choose a railing overlooking vineyard, all it took was a slight push and down he went. Only to interrupt the soon to be happy couple, while they where picking up some coins to break even from the wedding expenses. All in all I gave them an extra gift in the form of a few coins.

Then I made my way to the boat house, sailing into the sunset.

I really enjoyed this one! The story and characters felt really well-crafted, and I always love playing in Mendoza. Great idea to set a wedding-themed mission there.

I wandered about for 10 minutes trying to locate them (which felt right for an elusive target) and then followed them on their route a few times so I could hear all the dialogue, which was brilliant.

One of the best ETs I’ve played!

Elusive Target #9: The Heartbreaker - Dialogue

In my opinion, the quality of the ETs in H3 have been so good: The Collector, The Iconoclast, The Liability, and now The Heartbreaker. I really enjoyed putting this one together. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
