Elusive Target Arcade

I think it’s definitely gonna be more than just doing the elusive target again, something to change it up when you do it

I really hope that it will both bring the ability to replay past ETs (maybe even including The Brothers, who knows) but also bring certain game modes for them (ET ghost mode, roulette, all ETs at once, etc.)

If anyone has ever played Payday 2 and done a “Crime Spree”, I think it may work similar.

You get a selection of targets to choose from first, say 3 different targets. You complete it and choose a different target from a new target pool. Every couple of contracts you get a modifier, maybe more enforcers, louder footsteps, suspicious items like in professional mode in 2016 etc.

The end game could be to complete them all, or some kind of money/credit system to make things easier, like buying a save slot or a starting location/ pickup point. There’s quite a few things to work with

This way the arcade allows for the permanent addition of elusive targets, whilst also being an arcade mode. This is the best way to make it work in my opinion because elusive targets without the elusive aspect are generally of lower replay value than special assignments

That’d be awesome, a bit like how in Far Cry 5 you could access Far Cry Arcade through the arcade machines and posters scattered throughout the map.

Here are my main hopes for the mode (in order of importance):

1. All suit rewards locked behind ETs are still obtainable, with maybe some additional ones added (Black Winter Suit, Skydiving Suit, Patient 47, etc)

2. A decent amount of ETs at launch, not just the 7 Hitman 3 ETs. Eventually have the mode get every possible ET from the trilogy (fingers crossed for The Undying Returns Returns), with hopefully some more new Hitman 3 ETs coming out this year.

3. A way to play the missions unrestricted without needing to wait for them to become available or having to buy attempts. This doesn’t need to be available from the get-go, I’m fine with needing to grind various missions to buy/unlock unrestricted access, I would just like the option.

4. Electrocution Phone returning and just banned from the mode

Elusive Target Arcade

I’m SO happy they finally took the wise decision to put a permanent Elusive Target mode within the game! I mean it’s like over 30 contracts, 30 different targets, storylines and missions since 2016! After all the work they put into it, that would’ve been a shame to keep this locked away from players for a limited time. The “Elusive” concept remains a great idea and should still exist, but i think that after some time the limited target should be enabled permanently. No need to have any rewar…

As said here i really hope that this “Arcade” mode is something simple but efficient

Hoping that this mode is basically the same as Elusive Target Mode, except that this time:

→ we’re able to browse through all 2016-2021 targets

→ replay them as much as we want with scoring

→ and maybe the ability of saving and unlocking special items (Target Weapons, Clothing, etc.)

I hope they treat this mode like the missions we’ve gotten so far. Objectives for Suit Only, Silent Assassin, maybe hints at the “intended” kills that we sometimes see with Challenges, complete with maybe a cosmetic reward for doing enough of them.

Replayable ETs are great. Anything else is a bonus to that.

Maybe if the rival assassin concept is an option then the rival assassin can be 17 and beating him x amount of times will finally give us an orange tie.

But did they mean the mode, or just the reveal of what it is? I think it means what it says, but what if we’re wrong and we’ve got a wait ahead?

Current ET reactivation cycle is set to be end on 19th, so I guess ET Arcade starts shortly after.
And as it is Year 2 content, which starts on 20th, my prediction, ET Arcade starts on 20th as well.
Or Monday 24th the latest
