Everything STAR WARS! [Spoiler tags mandatory]

And consider heat too… And lightsaber was never safe…poor Twileks  I love lightsabers, it sa cool weapon but after prequels…well there wasn´t even a scene without it. If there was a sex scene, it would be with ligtsabers. But the prequels were dumb…very dumb… I hope these…what are these ? Sequels? I hope there will be great…

And this Lukes refuge…maybe he is Homeless, maybe he will turn into dark side. He is alone for so long. He didn´t have money. Since they destroyed expanded universe no Mara Jade, no Jedi Academy, no JOB! So he lives in the cave, homeless and drinking. I saved the galaxy, I saved the republic and now I live in the cave? Then he realizis…he hate rocks and mostly sand… and he becomes a sith…

Well who’s to say that it’s Luke and that he lives there?. Luke might have children, we don’t know yet. There is nothing about the plot yet and what the movie is about. Luke might have started a Jedi Academy, but left it since for some Jedi journey. The pictures of the cave could be of that, there is still much for him to learn about the force, even Yoda did this.

Hey MADS47  I hope you didn´t took my word that I took Luke as an CAVE-Alcoholic sith did you ? I think Luke is up to something, He feels something wrong. Darkside is getting stronger. He is investigating something. Maybe some important meeting, maybe with some other jedi master. Who knows… Or is it a sith at the entrence?

Filming for Star Wars: Episode VII has now wrapped! This note was given to the cast and crew after finishing.

Well i was not sure if you meant it.

No:) I didn´t:) And yeah I watch SWE7 news pretty close. I am looking forward to it. I am a fan. I was a little bit worried about disney. I was like wtf? But when I heard about the writer Lawrence Kasdan which was a co-writer of ESB(best SW movie) I was very relieved and J.J. ABRAMS…Is a good choice. George Lucas, was not a very good writer which he proved with prequels and even worse director. Prequels felt very crisp and sterile…actors had shity dialogs and they didn´t even know how to act, becouse they didn´t even know where they are and they could not adapt to the enviroment. George didn´t know how to shoot dialogue, hell he didn´t even know how to write it. It was a fake… I look forward to E7 - real locations, better director, better writers ( JJ and Kasdan)

In the original trilogy, if someone pulled out a lightsaber, you knew some shit was about to go down.

In the prequels, when someone pulls out a lightsaber, someone’s about to deliver a one-liner.

exactly! When Luke took out his LS he meant business!

Star Wars Episode VII now has a title

Well you can say what you wan’t about the title, i don’t really care as long as the movie is good. The title can’t be worse then Rise of the planet of the apes or Dawn of the planet of the apes. Plus i don’t think it is that bad, i hope it has something to do with the plot of the movie. Just like all other Star Wars movies, the title of the movie is central to the plot as well.

I honestly don’t mind the title, at least it’s better than Attack of the Clones.

Most of Star Wars titles are a bit cheesy to be honest, like ‘Empire Strikes Back’ and ‘Return of the Jedi’. I think the best titles in the series is ‘The Phantom Menace’ (though it’s the worst movie in the series) and then ‘A New Hope’. But i can’t wait to see something from the actual movie.

The only reason I don’t like it is because for it to make any sense they’ll have to play fast and loose with the Force again. It awakens? Was it asleep? Does it have a more distinct character than that of a perpetual energy field? Are midichlorians going to be involved?

I don’t think you should take the title literal, as it is actually is a sleep. Between ‘Revenge of the Sith’ and ‘Return of the Jedi’ there is practically no force users left, 99% of all Jedi was killed in the Great Jedi Purge and because of the Sith law The Rule of Two (Darth Bane wrote it) there can only be a Sith Master and his Apprentice at any given time. In 'New ‘Hope’ we are given the impression that The Force is kinda forgotten

Admiral Motti: Don’t try to frighten us with your sorcerer’s ways, Lord Vader. Your sad devotion to that ancient Jedi religion has not helped you conjure up the stolen data tapes, or given you enough clairvoyance to find the rebels’ hidden fortress…

Governor Tarkin: The Jedi are extinct, their fire has gone out of the universe. You, my friend, are all that’s left of their religion.

Han Solo: Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.

So by the title we can assume that the Jedis are going to make their return to the galaxy, and that is what is meant by the title. Not that the force have been gone, but there hasn’t been any one to use it or teach it.

Well it makes sense… after the defeat of the Empire there was no need for the force. Now, there apparently is.

I think the title is an implicit admission that the prequels sucked and that Star Wars is supposedly coming back in style. Either that, or it’s simply a generic “comeback” title.

About the prequels, what do you guys think is the reason they turned out so bad? I mean they’re made by the same guy, and the originals were praised.

To start of George Lucas only directed ‘A New Hope’ (Writer George Lucas), ‘Empire Strikes Back’ was directed by irvin kershner (written by Leigh Brackett and Lawrence Kasdan) and ‘Return of the Jedi’ was directed by Richard Marquand (Lawrence Kasdan and George Lucas). In general George only stood for the back story of the movies.

Now lets take a look at ‘The Phantom Menace’, ‘Attack of the Clones’ and ‘Revenge of the Sith’, George is the director and writer of all three films. If you watch the bonus dvds on the Blu-ray collection, there is a lot of talk about how George did not listen to any one or take advice from any one. He had his vision of the movie and that was how it was going to be, a lot of the people on the film, was also to afraid to “challenge” him or speak their mind. There is a very interesting clip, after the fist screening of ‘The Phantom Menace’. George directly says it is horrible and there is no way he can redo it.

The problem lies in that George thought he was able to do everything himself, because it worked for him on ‘A New Hope’. That my view on it.

Seems about right I guess. But I wonder why he kept doing the prequels all by himself if he thought The Phantom Menace was so bad
