you mean the investigator waking up without being found? Tranq poison doesn’t count against it
or trying it now, it seems it does for some reason? even though it says poison doesn’t count?
not sure immediately then
Hey everyone, just wanted to apologize for the Identity Crisis contract—turns out I made a bit of a mistake when setting up the No Dead or Unconscious Bodies May Be Found complication.
Here’s what happened:
When creating a contract, if you pacify a target before marking them, the no bodies found complication still remains available.
But if you mark the target first, that option disappears since the game recognizes them as a KO’d body before they were tagged.
I definitely marked the target after pacifying them, which is why I was still able to apply the complication.
My bad on that! Well, I guess I’m not only learning from your fast runs but also from my own mistakes. Lesson learned—thanks for playing, and I appreciate everyone’s patience!
I truly was convinced I can poison-pacify and get no body found, but that’s not the case. Too bad! It would have made more interesting custom contracts.
At the beginning of the mission, I choose the desired disguise, and then, when I need to change the disguise in order to assemble the necessary weapon, the game gives me a refusal!
Maybe I’m doing something wrong?
My guess is that it’s like Urben’s contract that used the Flamingo exit in Miami, you’re probably too close to the exit when you change disguises and the game “deletes” the exit because you no longer have the required suit to use it, causing an instant failure.
Maybe you need to change into merc from as far as possible so that you’re not too close to the exit? I guess doing something like wetsuit > winery worker > merc > wetsuit might work too? (I don’t think you can do wetsuit A > wetsuit B > merc > wetsuit A?)
There is a guard with a Bartoli 75S at the boat escape.
Maybe a trick has been discovered to get the weapon without stunning the NPC, but that’s just speculation.
