[FC] Featured Contracts Curators

Possible topics for future FC batches.

Oh, sport, you are peace! Golf in Sappieza, a gym in the Maldives, racing in Miami, eSports (hackers in Colorado and IT specialists in New York). The game also features a lot of equipment and suits related to sports.
2. Numbers. It’s simple: 10 digits (0 to 9) and 10 contracts. A Bangkok chef’s quote: “It’s only numbers!” is a good slogan.
3. Electricity. Short circuit, ball lightning, or phase shift.
4. Other computer games. From Tetris to GTA.
5. Literature. This topic is dedicated to literary works like “Romeo and Juliet,” “Cinderella,” etc. - I might even consider a topic dedicated to the works of Stephen King (films and books). I think he’s the most famous modern writer in the world.
6. Countries. Each contract is dedicated to a specific country (the country does not necessarily have to be present in the game). The contract must reference a specific country, for example, French Kiss, English Breakfast, or Vietnam Flashback. If you have an artist, you can create pictograms similar to those presented below, but only for Hitman.

  1. Safety Rules. Contracts related to players carrying weapons in the game.

  2. Sniper.

  3. Collaboration. Only joint contracts between two or more players are accepted.

  4. Horoscope. Aquarius, Capricorn, Taurus, etc. Similar to contracts with zodiac signs.

  1. Shadow Theater. I don’t know if shadow casting in the game would be fun or if it’s a boring idea.

  1. Pranks. Famous pranks with evil clowns or good twins. Similar to Mem Maximazer.
If a future curator likes one of these topics, don’t hesitate to take it!

Had an idea brewing as well where it’s a Featured Contract batch based on specific lethal weapons? From screwdrivers to icicles to meat cleavers, all unlocks are fair game (ofc paid-only weapons won’t be chosen so everyone gets a chance) – I think it would be nice to show off unlocks that are underutilized and what not.

I’d second that, I had an contract idea about neglected large bladed weapons like Jarl’s saber, Obama’s machete and the like where you had to kill each target with a different one of them but never did it in the end  (I was inspired by a H2 contract from Urben about the Muramasa, which couldn’t be stashed back into a briefcase once you took it out back then, but “sadly” H3 fixed that  )

@Ashley I had a similar idea about throwing weapons, too. As for paid weapons, I think this could be mentioned in the briefing and on the cover, but the condition should simply be “melee or throwing weapons.”

Maybe! I quite enjoy the idea of highlighting specific melee weapons! But the flexibility of any lethal weapon is fine. I would love ideas of machetes getting thrown and icicles getting stabbed.

Sounds great, 47 has too many different toys (weapons):smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Yeah I also have an idea about FC from literature…… but I’m not sure it’s boring or funny

Wasn’t the SOHM batch (at least partly) based on books/movies/TV shows, iirc?

Did we have a music themed contract batch already? Could be kills with the piano string, musicians (disguises or as targets in Miami, Sgail, Mendoza, Santa Fortuna, …). Could be something like “striking a chord”, “symphony of death” whatever.

I would like to see two topics of FC batches.

  1. “Lights, camera, action!” - A batch about making movies. Not movies themselves but the process. There are plenty of movie cameras on maps, not to mention the movie set in Sapienza.

  2. A kind of different batch where, instead of a few targets with zero complications, the batch with one target but many complications.

@Charlie_Farmer did a song themed batch, but I don’t think there has been one about music in general like you describe.

Like MagicDave says, I did a themed batch based on song references though kills, locations, items, disguises etc.

But using tools like a piano wire or killing the harp player in Sgail, they weren’t the focus, so another music batch could totally be done!!!

@Charlie_Farmer @magicdave94 Thanks for letting me know. Will play those again to see if there’s even potential for more contracts like this.

I wished if there was some batch of contract where you cannot bring anything in the loadout or smuggle anything strictly. Not sure if it will be possible to block it only for that batch on the contracts starting scene - maybe allow to start from any location. It will be a No Loadout contract batch.

Update: I don’t know the full form of SOHM, I know SASO (Silent Assassin Suit Only) and SONKO (Suits Only No Knock Out) though. I searched for it but didnot get the meaning, seems it starts with Suits Only..but what is HM?

It’s a Chinese speedrun competiton, IIRC it just means “Speedruns Of HitMan”.

Greetings!

Been a while, but as you may have seen with the Bond themed FC batches there is still progress being done! There is already a really nice mix of themes, tones and concepts in the pipeline, which should make for a lot of variety once these start rolling out.

The next 4 batches coming up are:

  • By the Book by @Shrimpie - A batch focused on doing contracts “by the book”. Meaning, you get all the tools you need from the get go. No unlocks necessary.
  • Shaken not stirred Pt. 1 by @YupItsPurple - Part one of the Bond themed Featured Contact batches with missions handcrafted by @YupItsPurple
  • Shaken not stirred Pt. 2 by @The_Elite_Institute- Part two of the Bond themed Featured Contract batches to celebrate the launch of 007 First Light: Contracts inspired by movies of the Bond franchise. .
  • The Art of Mayhem by Anonymous - A syndicate themed FC batch focusing on the familiar syndicates from Freelancer and more.

Once again, thank you to everyone who has reached out so far or offered their help. I really do appreciate it, and I am very much looking forward to seeing these take shape together with all of you.

PS: I hope I linked the right Shrimpy
