Plus these are really funny guys too: –
It isn’t as easy as it looks – to balance all the superspy 007 schtick, keeping semblance of an overarching narrative, keeping gameplay always interesting while inserting some over-the-top goofiness too.

I’ve noticed the strange disconnect between actions and items. Specifically, some objects are illegal to pick up, but totally legal to hold, despite how weird it may be.
Two cases of this so far:
The Dubai Tower model in the penthouse Lounge. It’s illegal to pick up, but no one cares if you’re running around, holding it out?
There’s also the Dog Cane (or whatever it’s called) in Dartmoor. Totally illegal to pick up (as the Detective), but not illegal to carry around?
(Now, I get that the cane isn’t illegal to carry around because that would be way too hard to get to those secret rooms, but every time I swap items, it drops from my hand, so I better hope no one’s around to see me pick up this thing that I’m allowed to carry…)
Putting down (either dropping or placing) the flaming torch as a Chef in Mendoza is also illegal, even though picking it up and openly carrying it isn’t. Haven’t tested with a guard disguise (in case there’s some kind of weird rule about it being a psuedo weapon or something), but hoping that this gets fixed because it’s pretty dumb for a Chef to get shot to pieces for having the temerity to stop holding a torch.
The prisoner in Marrakesh no longer wears a hood, which doesn’t make sense since Reza Zaydan doesn’t notice that the prisoner goes from being a Moroccan with a full head of hair to 47 a Romanian with a bald head.
From a practical point of view you don’t have to run around as the prisoner without having a darkened view behind a hood over your head.
I know it’s made for VR but they didn’t do that for the Entertainers right?
I had a first person glitch occur on PC and while it is clearly not designed like this (no arm and weapon modeled) but it really made me miss the first person from older entries. You get a more intimate where you’re one with the crowd.
I’ve had that glitch, I also went invisible at one point it was funny subduing people and it just looking like they were choking
Yesterday i was playing Berlin mission and i’ve noticed that in club storage area all kegs and beer cases trembles to the bass - sound is muffled and all but this is a really nice detail.
First time I saw the can and the illegal sign; I put in the suitcase. That way I could carry it around (thought it was illegal to walk around with) and when you are at a secret entrance, 47 uses the can and places it back in the suitcase.
That way you always have a free hand also.
Another thing from Hokkaido:
When you show the doctor that Soders killed his dad, but he isnt drugged yet, he calls someone called Don, and talks about him how “the clients of him (Dons clients)”, that paid for Soders, offered him with their influence to approve his stem cell research. Does he just call Don Yates? Was this in the game back in Season One? Definitely exciting.
Damn I love this game, replaying and remastering the trilogy really excites me more and more about what IOI delivered. Is it me or inventory disappear sometimes? i had a crowbar and a newspaper with me and suddenly they’re missing
Also remove the always online functionality for the challenges and progress
I humbly request for it to at least be an option.
This feature is a staple in Hitman 1 and 2, and it just feels so strange not being able to contextually adjust my perspective. Otherwise, the game is fantastic!
Yes! It’s not only good for just looking around corners. Not being able to throw anything from that side feels broken, especially in the context of replaying legacy content where it worked before, as you have shown.
Yeah, that one has confused me. If it was in a crowded area and the challenge was initially picking it up then I understand. But it’s in an empty room… So why make it illegal to pick up? Like you said, it just makes you careful where you drop it
Oh yeah that’s a given. I also hope we can set difficulty per level. I’d play most Hitman 1 & 2 levels on pro mode, but jack things up to Master for levels I’m particularly good at.
Weird thing I noticed is Hawke’s Bay and Himmelstein use the wrong music for extraction. Hawke’s Bay especially has an extraction theme that’s extremely long to account for the cinematic.
I’m sure it’s been discussed already, but I was saddened to learn that no, shortcuts are not disabled for contracts mode, only contract creation. Although in creation if you spawn past a shortcut it will be opened, but if you spawn outside of it, it will not (from what I’ve noticed).
So basically they put a frisk zone in Berlin entirely for the sake of only your first playthrough of the game ever, and not your next hypothetical thousands of sessions.
At least in Berlin you can make a contract where you have to kill targets in the rave suit since you can’t bring a gun in with that start.
So the frisk point is even more pointless in that situation
No offense to them, but that’s the most confusing and pointless combination they could have come up with
The Berlin frisk zone is made pointless by the shortcut, but it could also easily be circumvented if you turn left and enter via red toilets already.
