I had it more simple minded by making couriers just drop letters or envelopes that you pick up and as soon as you do, you get the update in your Intel menu about the target.
Similar to picking up the wines in Argentina and then getting a small briefing describing them.
Yeah I get what you mean, would be interesting to be fair. Diana could then potentially update 47ās intel inventory and provide us with further updates, very much like how she does once you start uncovering the syndicate leader once they start dropping hints during conversations.
So itās like getting the intel on The Fugitive ET in the directorās office that tells you directly which of the three options is the target, except it just gives you one detailed hint like: if the leader is wearing a hat, what kind of hat, or what color, or if they are wearing a necklace, if it is a pearl necklace, things like that?
Yeah exactly like that. Would be cool if the idea came to fruition to be honest if done correctly, although I donāt envisage many changes to the way the identifying of Syndicates takes place.
I guess you could look at it from another angle and with Freelancer supposed to be more of a challenge in comparison to the Campaign, I guess if during gameplay it started giving you hints such as coloured hat, necklaces etc for the Syndicate Leader, it might then became less of a challenge if that makes sense?
Thought for a moment there that the power cell in the garage was fixed and that it could be used now, as I was able to take it out of its slot and build a bomb on my bench with it, then once the mission I took it on ended and Iām back at the safehouse, I realize, nope, weāre now back to the original situation where I canāt pick it up at all, and now my garage is perpetually dark. IOI, when are you going to fix this fucking thing?
Iāve almost completed the level 100 challenge. I want the suit. But then I think to stop playing freelancer. I want to play other games in that little time I have for videogames. I donāt want to play the same thing for a lot of months to complete 100 freelancer campaigns and to kill 2500 enemies
You know, the Greek Fire suit is another good casual outfit to just hang around the safehouse in in Freelancer. Just played it for the first time since getting that outfit and it works pretty well for it. Expect the Cozy Christmas suit to do the same when it arrives, even without any Christmas decorations (currently).
Well, itās not like theyād just announce āComing in December: Festive Holiday Decorations for your Safehouse!ā 'Cause thatād totally ruin the surprise.
Years ago (maybe 95 or 96?) back when we had screen savers there was a package called AfterDark Totally Twisted. It was a set of screen savers that included one called Mikeās So Called Life. All it was was a side-on view of this guyās apartment and heād do stuff. Heād sit in his chair, go to his fridge, look out his window, water his plant, etc. You could just sit there watching him live out his completely boring life.
There was a rumor that something special happened on Christmas. People who just changed their system clocks said that on that day (and only that day) Mike redecorated his apartment. I remember waiting around for about a month for Christmas day to arrive to see what special thing happened. All it was was a small Christmas tree with about three lights on it. Then on the 26th it was gone.
