I… never knew this was a thing. Haha. This game sometimes.
Buggily. It’s worked for me, it hasn’t worked for me. I’ve seen a couple people here note they’ve had problems with it.
bug fixes in the next patch (in 2 months??
)
Failed Collateral Kill - Accident even if I blew up a target and non-target with the propane flask with the former closer to said flask.
I unlocked the Gym, but unfortunately, we can’t use anything there I know there are training animations, like the punching bag, the weight bench or the Pull-up bar, so I hope for some training opportunities at higher levels
And I chose to do one of these prestige things and decided to go with SASO, but it was a stupid decision because one of the objectives was to kill a target with explosions and that was way too much attention Next time I will choose something else and plan better
100% need a “bring briefcase” option. Sick of dragging the water cannister around when I need to use the case for stuff.
PSA: Target Slip objective only works with bananas/grapes. Making them slip on the water puddles where you remove the “wet floor” warning does not work

Had some real ups and downs today.
Tried to slow down and be more meticulous during a showdown. Thought I figured my target in Whittleton and so followed them into Nolan’s house. Fumigated with emetic by accident which ended in a chaotic mass vomit that made it hard to plan
After finding the right spot to take out my target I clumsily accidentally kill another suspect. Low and behold that was the actual target. It felt great, but I still had to exit the house. Unfortunately I barely made it out the door
A little meditate at the safehouse soon cheered me up
Failed a mission today, the second to last of a Psy Ops syndicate; I intended to throw a coin near my feet to lure a target closer to me, but mistook the small circular image I saw on screen for a coin when it was really an exploding golf ball! Then the showdown turned into a total shit show, but I managed to gun down the target while they fled and almost died again from getting shot at.
Psh Ops and Espionage missions suck when you don’t have the right tools to complete the objectives. Assassination and Arms Trafficking missions are much easier.
I’ve been playing the syndicates in an order to give a little bit of story to the whole thing, because it seems like the different syndicates are working together for a higher purpose. I started with assassination, then arms trafficking, then psy ops and now espionage, but in hindsight I think that’s the wrong order. I should have started with arms trafficking, and then Diana realizes that the weapons are being delivered to an assassination syndicate, and then realized they were getting their info on all their targets from an espionage syndicate, and that all three were operating at the behest of a psy ops syndicate that needed the guns, the secrets, and hired killers in order to advance their goal of destabilizing the world order.
Once I finish this campaign, I’m gonna play the remaining four syndicate types into a story order as well. I’ll start with Sick Games, and then Diana realizes that their victims are being turned over to an Organ Harvesting syndicate, who are also working with an Eco Crime syndicate ruining the environment the sick games and organ harvesting were taking place in, and all for… Big Pharma, raking in the money from the harvested organs and responding to the human toll of the ecological upset from the eco crime folks.
The game crashed on my way to Santa Fortuna (wasn’t an alerted territory) - when I restarted the game, suddenly it’s alerted.
Hello. I stupidly forgot my briefcase with the signature smg reward (whatever the one is that get when you level up). Is there any way to get it back? Yeah, I’m dumb. Thanks.
Congratulations, you did it. From your experience, what is the difference between hardcore & normal difficulty in term of rewards? Does amount of Merces increase? Or maybe XP? Or it’s just the same with no noticeable changes? Which will make it pointless except for certain challenge…
Sorry my dude, if you leave it there, you lose it.
I’ve learned after failing a few campaigns to exploit ever game mechanic as much as possible and when choosing Syndicates to prioritize specific locations so you don’t end up at something like Colorado for a Showdown.
You’ll be able to randomly find it in Suppliers inventory if you lose it, but you’ll obviously need the cash to get it back.
I don’t know how much it might cost
I read a comment on the pre-release discussion about how someone was happy that 47 finally had a place to call home that wasn’t a crappy shed or dusty basement.
Just spent some time checking out the new unlocks, and that comment came to mind. It’s really sweet that 47 has a place to relax - seeing him chopping up firewood and meditating by the water - it’s a level of wholesomeness I never expected from Hitman.
Now if we could only get a Victoria or Grey Easter egg… I’ll settle for a tiny framed photograph of either of them.
And that is every weapon and tool not tied to mastery on the wall(s)…
except that stupid coin, of course.
It’d be a lot easier to see if the walls weren’t transparent I guess.
The one you can dig up in Sigail - can you buy that from a supplier or am I going to have to go and get a shovel? I’ve been putting it off because Sigail is always listed alongside Marrakesh, Mumbai and Colorado: the holy trinity of failed campaigns.
Yea man I did not think I’d have so much trouble with Marrakesh levels. I make sure to knock out Mumbai (my weakest map) first whenever it’s an option and bc I do that I am sure I have the most issues in Marrakesh.
