Totally agree, or as part of a patch update, we could have new additional items added to the loot crates that 47 could use effectively during missions!

It would be fun to see an overview at the safehouse of the contents of all crates in a location. That way I would probably plan differently and I would try to find more crates in a location until I’ve found what I’m looking for.

It just dawned in my brain
I’m not sure if it’s just showdown or any mission
But 2 x when the safe is in the griswold basement, that’s the house with the secret passage to Janus house
Each time the guard watching the safe is knocked out or killed his weapon is the Hackl 9S covert
Not the silencer the assassins have or the normal gun the garbage man on the backyard have
Wanted to share this because I don’t think it’s part of the list of items someone made on excel

Just wondering why in a Freelancer showdown on xbox series x the showdown, the suspect camera has a grid on it. But if your not in a showdown the camera is clear. Its very annoying. Is there a fix for this? Am I the only one thats annoyed by it?

Can you post a pic of what you’re referring to please? My mind has gone blank 
There is indeed a grid pattern on the suspect camera, which the regular camera does not have. To my eyes, it’s subtle enough that I don’t really notice it.

I haven’t played Freelancer in a while, but last I did - on PS5 the grid lines weren’t partially transparent at all like the screenshot above. Was just hard white lines all over the screen.

Doesn’t help the console users unfortunately, but on PC you can get a mod to clean up the camera UI and also allow a longer zoom and some other improvements.

Just completed my 100th campaign. All freelancer challenges completed.
I’ve had fun, but I don’t know if I’ll ever touch this mode ever again, unless there will be a major update for it.
Time to take a break…

It’s hard to take a pic while holding instinct and camera
But happens to me on showdowns
Picture the Number Lock Screen icon on your computer keyboard.
Then picture it covering an entire screen.
Like a Grid then just picture the camera and instinct
It pops up when you use camera and also instinct

Happens to me, I also have Xbox
Get a load of this , the ultimate hell
I needed 2 items to complete the Prestige and advance to level 9.
Campaign final or mission 18
Was able to buy and after completing the rewards crate had the final item.
I had to take it which included the bonus
So now my choices are do another campaign just to take 60k to level 9 or start level 9 with 0.
So I did begin with 0
The part that stinks ,
I was avg 4-5 missions in between being able to buy items.
So yay 1 level to go before 10 but stinks with 0
The grid is intentional (maybe to further differentiate the suspect camera from the regular one?), but the opacity is wrong compared with how it looks on PC. Seems like a bug on console, unless a graphics or display setting plays into it?
