Are you playing with mods? I had this happen once for the second showdown and I suspected it was because I applied mods to Freelancer not at the start of a new campaign but during a campaign and the game got confused whether I was at the first or second syndicate.
313 is a song by Eminem, referencing an area code in Detroit.
Yeah, I use Freelancer Variations but never encountered this before.
I wonder if weāll get a new weapon wall next year to fill in that missing gap in the Safehouse? Itās cool to see more weapons added to the Safehouse.
Couple of interesting things from playing Freelancer todayā¦ā¦.
When I loaded up Freelancer and the Safehouse intro began, 47 was blending in from a new spot, which I havenāt ever noticed before, and he was stood at his kitchen table drinking the glass of wine! ![]()
Has anyone had this spot before when you first load up Freelancer and 47 starts in a randomised location in the Safehouse? Heās either normally sat in his chair in the bedroom, making/laid on the bed, mopping in the garage, punching the punch bag in the gym/longe area, painting the shed, raking the leaves, fishing, or chopping wood outside. The drinking wine one at the starting point seems to be a new one, unless Iām mistaken? ![]()
Also, today Iāve also had Rebecca Carlisle show up as a target in Freelancer, when I thought the Campaign main characters were exempt from being Syndicate members/leaders?
Has anyone had this before as well?
The proximty micro tazer doesnt get recognized like before. Did they patch it out? Because it worked like the electric phone now all npcs are blind to it.
The micro taser is never supposed to be noticed. Thatās the purpose of the micro. If it was being noticed before, that was a flaw. I likely never noticed because I avoid using proximity items whenever possible.
Although i agree micro items should never been seen as thatās the way they are designed, but Iām asking if it was patched out because before it worked like the electric phone. The only difference was that you couldnāt pick it up and play roulette like with the phone until the target picks it up.
I guess it was, but like I said, I never noticed it being that way. I know the regular sized taser worked that way, but Iād never seen the micro do that, so if it did and doesnāt now, they must have patched it.
Only main targets are really excluded. Any of the Carlisles can actually be a syndicate member!* Including, inexplicably, Gregory Carlisle, who does nothing but sit on the couch reading a newspaperā¦
(*besides Alexa, of course)
iirc, it got patched just before it became an unlock in the main game.
I canāt remember starting there either.
Iāve gotten this one multiple times over the past year alone.
I have no idea if the spawn location and time of day is truly random or not however
Thatās interesting! ![]()
Iāve been playing Freelancer since launch consistently and Iāve never had 47 starting off in the Safehouse drinking wine at the table. Unless itās come in as part of an update this year and itās just luck if the draw it hasnāt been a starting point for me perhaps?
The wine drinking start has been there since Freelancer launched. Providing you have the kitchen island with that blend spot unlocked of course.
Honestly Iāve played Freelancer consistently since it launched and that start point in the Safehouse has never come up for me, until recently the other day.
Yeah I guess itās just luck of the draw. Youād think itās probably statistically the same chance on each start point but some do seem to come up more than others.
Yeah maybe thatās the case. Weirdly I havenāt had that starting point since that one time, but Iām going to keep an eye out now ![]()
Miss playing Freelancer. I wonāt play because I maxed out on all the achievements.
Cultivate intrinsic motivation, bruh.
