Nice work!
May I ask, what are those ten challenges in the “Roulette” category?

Some IOI.dk things to fix for @IOI_Artjoms
BUG FIXES
Besides adding, crafting, and creating some new content we are also happy to ship Game Update 2.80 with a patch filled with fixes, stemming from the hardworking fingertips of our dedicated developers here at IOI.
^ wrong version number
Light Work
Updated the lighting in the ICA Facility two training missions to improve the overall experience and visual fidelity.
^ the word two is in the wrong place.
“Bloom Where You Are Planted” sends players back to Ambrose Island to help a young student “blossom” in their field, earning a highly coveted silenced pistol, while “Fortune Favors the Bald” takes Agent 47 to the GAMA Private Hospital in Hokkaido for a challenge shrouded in.
^ announcement blog cuts off a sentence.
https://hitmanstat.us/ isn’t currently working, might be fixed with the update tomorrow though. Also the reports threshold creates a very red tint on that UI element. I’ll let you know in a day or so if this gets fixed.
The patch notes blog has a very low res thumbnail.
The Snoop Dogg announcement blog is missing a thumbnail.
Peacock Roulette, it’s a mod that requires peacock. Very fun!
Great to see Freelancer/Safehouse getting some love! ![]()
It would be nice if all the DLC items that are one-time use, like the waterballoon and sunscreen, were instead freelancer items instead of items that go on the wall. (Or at least that the wall version was renamed collector’s edition.)
Would incentivize using those items more, as now I don’t want to use a consumable item that will disappear from the wall if I use it. If we had a new briefcase with just the DLC freelancer items I think that could be pretty nice?
Every item in the main game should be usable in Freelancer, and vice versa.
Giving them a 100% chance to appear in Supplier inventories after using them would be nice enough imo.
It sucked so much that I didn’t read the fine print and got rid of Mom’s Spaghetti Sauce shortly after leveling up Prestige and only having the Eminem items. It showed up again after ~8 hours, and the outline on the wall mocked me until then.
I was thinking today, although it’s unlikely to happen, would people like to see the Harbinger Dartmoor, the Drop Berlin and the Herbalist’s Haven Island replace the standard versions of these maps in Freelancer? Given Freelancer is themed following the Hitman epilogue and these revamped missions take place post campaign, it would be cool to have these versions playable in Freelancer.
Not sure what anyone else thinks? ![]()
I was thinking this myself, but I prefer that we still get all the different versions and it just randomly generates which one.
I think the ideal is basically something like freelancer variations where you can get both. Maybe some settings to configure it, but think that would be the best way to do it.
The largest, unfortunate, issue is that it would be a mess of entitlements/licensing agreements.
Even just for a map variation.
Something possibly fun would be to have the actual celebrET mission to possibly replace a showdown for a select syndicate type. (besides it’s not as if Patient Zero Requiem would have enough NPCs to have a varied list of good targets for takedown missions).
I believe @Heisenberg has a mental list of which syndicate type each celebrET would be the most appropriate for.
But imagine:
Or, you know, “Assassination” syndicate, takedowns, “Showdown - The Undying” locked to Miami.
Making this with the standard suite of Elusive Target could be fun too.
You pick a Sick Games syndicate, you face off against Mr. Giggles in the nighttime version of Marrakesh from A House Built on Sand. An Espionage syndicate and you actually have the three options for The Fugitive to to pick from in Hokkaido, and they could potentially make it the Snow Festival version, even though that ET didn’t use that version, could still be done. @LandirtHome has the idea.
Personally, I have to disagree with this. I’d also like every one of these items to be usable in Freelancer, but not under the current model.
I don’t like the idea of a serious, professional and meticulous 47 collecting all kinds of geek stuff on his walls. It just doesn’t fit my image of 47. I think the walls and the Safehouse inventory should contain only one specific type of each weapon.
For example, instead of having multiple axes, there should only be one ICA Tactical Axe. Instead of several different AK-47s, there should be just one, the most classic version.
The current model simply doesn’t work, though, because when you combine it with the Prestige system, the pool of items you need to purchase to reach the next level keeps getting bigger with every DLC. And that’s without even adding the entire inventory of items available in the normal game.
In the inventory, you’d only have the Fiber Wire, while in the locations you could find things like neckties, pieces of string, headphones, fishing line, measuring tapes, etc.
I can see several possible solutions:
Each item type could have a separate menu where you can select and switch between variants. For example, after unlocking the Goldballer, it would simply become an alternative skin/variant for the Silverballer. The player could choose which one they want as the standard version and which one they want to use, while still having only one type of item.
All the classic items could be exclusive to the Safehouse inventory, while their more exotic variants could only be obtained during missions that fit their theme. For example, an antique knife could only be found in Santa Fortuna, a hunting shotgun only in Dartmoor, Rude Ruby in Whitteon Creek etc.
Introduce a new type of vendor during missions called the “Black Market.” During a mission, you could purchase unique items from them. Once acquired, the item would then unlock an alternative skin/variant for the corresponding standard item, as described in point 1.
Overall, I’m just not a fan of the Safehouse walls being filled with a huge collection of all these quirky items. It would eventually turn into one giant junk pile.
To me, this just shows that IO didn’t fully think through the concept of the walls and the inventory when they designed the game. At this point, the system is basically eating its own tail.
I don’t want to everything on the wall, and it’s not feasible to do so. I always figured that there should be a certain spot that allows for miscellaneous items not displayed on the walls, a separate menu that reveals all variants of existing items when accessing each section of the wall, or for the wall displays to all be able to scroll like the CelebrET items wall now does.
You can disable those DLCs when playing Freelancer so that the items they add don’t appear in vendor inventories (AFAIK none of them are required for prestiging).
yeah i did
still it feels like i did search back there before

i would imagine the procurers would be organ trafficking and whoever that Marrakesh et is in the consulate basement would be arms trafficking.
