I’m generally with you on that, but I had so many good memories of the gaming experience from playing Fallout 3. I cranked it up a few months ago and the engine is so outdated that it looked horrible on my Series X.

Liar, liar, pant’s on fire!

You could play it on PC and add some mods. If you don’t have it, it’s free on Epic

As far as I heard online the Rockstar insiders in GTAF said that the RDR Remaster has been shelved.
They also claim that Bully2 was in development for 2 years but they dropped the project since they didn’t liked the direction.

Alas! My PC is purely for mundane Office apps, coding, and web development. I tried playing Myst on it a year or so ago and it was barely playable!

Microsoft are on the hunt for their own free-to-play “Genshin Impact”. It seems they were negotiating with the developers before it blew up, but couldn’t reach a deal. It’s a shame for Xbox and Switch players, but Sony did well to bag this one. Apparently, Wordle and Genshin Impact are two of the most discussed games of 2022 on social media.

Won’t buy this. I didn’t play the original, but I feel zero interest for this rehashed content. Not to mention it has been commissioned to another studio. CDPR exploiting his own creation like Ubisoft is sad.

Glad it is remade, if it does not add bugs I look forward playing it for the first time. If I am lucky it comes to the Xbox One.

Age of Mythology is getting some kind of remaster in the future. No idea what that entails exactly, but it is pretty exciting. Certainly seems like with Age of Empires thriving, the possibility of a true Age of Mythology sequel seems more possible.

I can’t wait to pay 14.99 so I can be Morbius so I can spend turs going “It’s Morbing time” and then proceeding to morb out over the bad guys even though Morbius was an actual Midnight Son so why the fuck do I have to pay for him?

Also why are Venom and Deadpool there? Aside from Wolverine who they also shoved into the game we don’t really need them, they don’t fit this side of the Marvel Universe and they weren’t Midnight Sons.

It looks like Striking Distance Studios have made the difficult decision not to release Callisto Protocol in Japan. This is because their game would not pass Japan’s CERO rating without compromising the vision they wanted gamers to experience.

Here is a translation from the recent Tweet:

The Japanese version of “The Callisto Protocol” has been discontinued.
At present we have decided that we will be unable to pass the CERO rating, and if we change the content, we will not be able to provide the experience that players expect. I would appreciate it if everyone in Japan could understand. We will issue refunds to those who pre-ordered.

Similar to Dead Space, which was never released in Japan for the same reason, it looks like many Japanese gamers will just play the imported version.

According to Firaxis, when talking to Marvel about the game, they basically went “hey, can we have these Marvel characters?” and Marvel basically said yes. From the sounds of it, it sounds like it was an excuse for Firaxis to get their dream roster of Marvel characters rather than try to honour the Midnight Suns team.

I mean good for them but that means they side-lined some interesting characters in favour of a lot of overexposed Marvel heroes. I would have just called it something else instead.

Now they don’t bother anymore to put a game on the disc…

Could be worse, could be just a piece of paper with a serial code in the case.

Funfact: my girlfriend bought the Resident Evil 2 Remake for my birthday when it came out and it arrived with a sealed copy of Fallout 76 taped onto it, because the retailer wanted to get rid of this trash so bad.
