They gave out an update for TS3. What year is this? 2009? It turned out just to be a tiny fix for newer processors. Still.

There will soon be a celebration for the series’ 25th anniversary though. I’ve been wondering what’s coming next after they canceled TS5 while EA still needs Sims to print money for them.

Crazy bullet-hell RPG rhythm game sequel comes out in March!

I saw a friend play a battle near the end of the game on Discord once and it looks pretty sweet, still need to try the first game.

We will never see Donnie Yen be a whole man…

What a shame. I wasn’t looking forward to the game’s story being shortened to fit feature film length, yet Kung Fu fighting in it could be promising, especially with Donnie. I wasn’t surprised though. There’s already nothing to look forward after United Front Games was shut down. Well back to playing the game I guess. Funnily enough it’s the year of snake again, meaning the game and its last DLC are 12 years old. :snake:

What a profound and utter tragedy, so many studios could have been making actual games in the time they spent trying to make the live-service crap Sony forced them to make.

I much rather see him kicking ass in a Sleeping Dogs game sequel anyway. Or a remastered version.

Good point - I’ve been recently contemplating replaying it myself, so this year would be ideal.

What I feel like replaying even more though is True Crime: Streets of L.A. That game deserves more love and paved the way for Sleeping Dogs. (Also, Nick Kang is cooler than Wei Shen, change my mind)

Make sure you get the PS2 version. PC port is decent but needs some meddling to make it compatible with modern PCs and some audio issues aren’t fixable and worst of all, you can’t use a gamepad. The controls layout on PC are a nightmare :grimacing:

Yeah, the controls were always awful. One of those ports that just scream “made for gamepad”… But honestly, I don´t mind that bit. I got used to it back in the day and it was only ever a nuisance in the shooting sections. I need m+kb for the fights anyway  (and having a showdown with North Korea guy while Static-X´s The Only is playing in the background is all I need)

Oh, so the audio issues are actually a thing with the PC port? I always thought that was just how the game was made :joy:

But yeah, if I can´t get it to run at all, I´ll have to get a hold of the PS2 version I gues…
