You know what would be really cool. If PlayStation could loosen those grips on their IP’s too. Games would be enjoyed by all and not bound to specific consoles

Hell yeah! I don’t know when Gran Turismo will become available outside of PS, but this might just change Sony or Polyphony Digital’s mind. 10 years ago if you told me we would get Forza on PS or TLOU on PC, I wouldn’t believe it, yet here we are. Now when can I get to play Mario Kart on PlayStation?

while I’m glad the sims 2 is being updated and able to run on modern hardware. I feel empty knowing they don’t have it on consoles since they for sure could have done it.

They would have had to put a lot of work to port them. Wouldn’t be surprised if all they did with the Re-release was to apply some widescreen / compatibility fixes

Wow.
Y’know, despite everything it did wrong and went wrong with it, Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers game actually did the most pro-consumer live-service move at the very end and unlocked all cosmetics and Store items for players once they took the game offline and off stores.
If you bought Multiversus well you’re shit outta luck I guess for all that “paid” content you’re gonna miss out on…

(For whatever reason they didn’t allocate resources to updating FC3 or 4 yet with an FPS boost. 
Also weirdly enough Far Cry 5 already had 60fps support, that we played the game in, since 2023! So I guess it’s nice we haven’t gotten to New Dawn yet!)

New No Man’s Sky patch that seems to be massive:
I am looking forward to the Abandoned Mode where there are no other intelligent life forms.
I just hope the game happens to run well now, I had crashes with the GPU driver when I tried recently.
