Neil Druckmann posted a message on the Naughty Dog instagram saying he’s not going to be involved with HBO’s The Last of Us Season 3, so he can properly focus on his next projects at ND.
I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from my creative involvement in The Last of Us on HBO. With work completed on season 2 and before any meaningful work starts on season 3, now is the right time for me to transition my complete focus to Naughty Dog and its future projects, including writing and directing our exciting next game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, along with my responsibilities as Studio Head and Head of Creative.

My misgivings with Craig Mazin’s adaptations of Part 2’s scenes so far might get worse…

I wonder how many people actually grew to have an appreciation for Part II the game after that last season.

Everyone who thinks The Last of us Part ll is a bad Videogame is either a liar, a grifter or a fucking dumbass.
Don’t get me wrong, i also liked the story of TLOU1 better than Part ll, but there has to be something wrong in your brain to say its a bad video game 
I haven’t seen a single episode of the show and i don’t want to - i just play the game, because movie or TV adaptations tend to suck anyway.

Honestly I like Part II more than one even with (or perhaps because of) its flaws.
I mean it is one of my rules for media consumption, I only watch an adaptation if it offers something new or is of an exceptional base quality.

Part II was really good. Like Ochoa said I never met anybody who actually disliked it outside of rage-bait YouTube ‘reviewers’.
I really couldn’t get into the show, comparing it to the game too much (which I played like 7 times). I especially disliked how Ellie was written, directed, and acted. I gave up half way through S1 and seems a good job considering what I’ve seen of S2.

Petition for EU parliament to take a look at companies, shutting down the video games after don’t want to support them. It has already gained 1 000 000 signatures, but it will need more in order to pass in case of invalid signatures. If you are from Europe, consider supporting it! Ross from Dungeon did a video covering it.

The industry pushes back, which is a good sign this petition could actually lead to a change!
I tried to look if IO is involved too. They are not on the main list of the industry campaign, but Games Denmark is on the list which seems to have IO as a biggest and seemingly founding member. Not sure if one can conclude IO playing an active role in this engagement.
