They definitely made the better choice putting Incineroar in smash for a gen 7 rep since he fits the fighting thing more but god Iām curious about how Decidueye wouldāve played If they didnāt change to Incineroar to be the gen 7 rep mid way through
Also actually really curious who would be chosen for the next smash game canāt really think of anyone maybe Tinkaton for a Scarlet/Violet rep?

I mean the fire lion does become a wrestler so it makes a natural fit in both look and moves. Plus I am pretty sure the grass types had a reputation as the sort of neglected starter right up until they created the grass owl.

Bulbasaur gets away with everything because people are so obsessed with gen 1 even if he was the worst people would still love him (heās my favourite btw) but yeah Snivy and Chikorita Iād say were about on par with the other two
For the others I feel like Treecko Chepsin and Turtwig arenāt as popular as their respective gens other starters (tbf there was no beating torchic and mudkip sorry treeckoš)
Rolwet definitely did start something because Grookey and Sprigatito are real popular ones and Iām seeing loads of fan art for the new fire and grass starters on twitter so I think the water type may be the least popular again like gen 8

Wow. 2027 release, not holiday 2026ā¦! Colour me really surprised!
Iām guessing Nintendo/Game Freak are really trying to avoid another Scarlet/Violet situation and are actually taking their time rather than going no-holds-barred on a big yearly release (especially for the 30th anniversary promo)

As someone who is not into heroshooters, this part of the developer statement is kinda baffling to me: āWeāll be adding (ā¦) account level progression, and skill trees.ā Are these not essential components in the genre that the game should have been released with?

ā¢ Cautiously (but not optimistically) interested in what āHexeā might turn out like.
ā¢ āInvictusā sounds like an instant flop tbh - I actually liked the AC multiplayer and I liked For Honor, but I donāt think these things will mesh well nor will people particularly go for a (presumably) standalone MP AC gameā¦
ā¢ Iāll probably play Black Flag again (even though itās massively over-hyped) but whatās most interesting about this is the effort to, rightly, brand it Resynced - suggests to me they might do some of the other older games too.
ā¢ āExpect more news on the Netflix live-action series very soon!ā No thanks

Iād hold your reservations on this. The most to expect from this is Black Flag, but thatās cause Resynced is just one big asset flip of Skull and Bones so Ubisoft can get a return on investment for the years of development they had on that game.
Black Flag remake is gonna be more focused on Edward and cut all the Modern Day portions if leaks and rumors are true.
by extension I wouldnāt be surprised if this is the strategy going forward if they do more remakes where they refocus on the Assassin for that game and for example cut Desmondās Portions out of something like Assassins Creed 3.

From the title āresyncedā, I think the game will be in-universe someone else reliving the life of Edward Kenway.
Would cut the present storyline and explain any changes.
Including gameplay, design, missionsā¦
Present observer could be a blank slate no factor.
The system used could be more advanced. (donāt remember what itās called)
The remaster of Poker Night at the Inventory is now out on Steam Nintendo Switch and PlayStation and Slay the Spire 2 has just launched in early access on steam
