I’m appalled over what has happened today. All I know is it’s far from over and a lot can happen within the coming days. Bidens scheduled inauguration is gonna be tense to watch given we don’t know what’s gonna happen.

Part of the reason we don’t share unchecked, unsourced social media as news - particularly when it comes from QAnon cultists, one of them appears to have invented a fake facial id tech company purely so he can claim he has proof of various conspiracies ranging from democrate judges being pedophiles to the latest “ANTIFA did iit” explaination for the attack on Capitol.

The Capitol storming has been a gift to authoritarian regimes around the world as every one from the RT to the Ayatollah weigh in.
Great so on top of being just terrible ethically it has also cost us over 6 million dollars to keep a group of innocent migrants in off-shore detention.
Speaking of rioting and offshore detentions the two topics collide here and we have to pay for the damages there as well. This off-shore detention shit is expensive, wrong and retarded

Maybe he didn’t think they wouldn’t actually storm the capitol (which is still no excuse for his behavior) and got cold feet or he’s actually ok with them rioting but some of his advisors managed to convince him to condemn these actions.
According to some news articles, it was the later. Which wouldn’t surprise me at all. Trump has shown that he only cares about himself. Even more than your average politician.
All this talk about the 25th Amendment being utilized and a potential impeachment.
I have a strange suspicion that these type of resolutions won’t happen and either way it’s gonna incite more distress and anger among Trump supporters.
That and if the impeachment process happens I feel like it will be expedited drastically just to get the president out of office.
And in terms of the 25th Amendment I doubt Pence assume control, but that’s just me.
Also on a side note, Twitter has given a good chuckle today.

I don’t think the 25th amendment is doable before the regular end of the term. At least that is what our media is pointing out.

I agree though it doesn’t seem doable… both options don’t seem doable in general especially since it’s near the end of Trumps presidency.
But from what I understand it seems that Section 4 of the 25th Amendment is what they are aiming for with this type of option.
At least that’s what I got when reading up on the extent of this Amendment.

I saw the video of her trying to climb through a door. Don’t really know what she expected would happen. Still I didn’t want anyone to die.
It’s a small miracle only four people die – and only one from a gunshot wound. Part of me was afraid some of the rioters be armed and things would turn really ugly.
