Oh Tucker if it really was Hell trying to reclaim you then don’t you think they would have tried a little harder?
“Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with 9 barrels shooting at her. Let’s see how she feels about it. You know, when the guns are trained on her face.”
Oh please, if he was physically mauled, nobody in the bed would have stayed asleep. Besides, why would demons attack on of their own?
We lost Thunberg.
Look, Greta has a good heart. Frankly, I have seen liberals, or at least liberal-leaning people, spout the same Islamophobic drivel that we rightly condemned Trump for to demonise and dehumanise Palestinians. Israel’s war crimes, even their killings of civilians and children, are constantly excused and forgiven, and Israel and its supporters constantly attacks those who seek to hold them accountable, such as the UN or pro-Palestinian activists.
But I think Greta is ignorant or feigning ignorance on how bad Trump will be for Palestine. If Harris loses, Netanyahu can go buck wild on Palestine with Trump’s blessing. He’ll annex the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, drive every Palestinian out and boldly pick more fights, kill more civilians and launch more missiles, all while Trump cheers on as he and that weasel son-in-law of his, Jared Kushner, build strip malls all over the place. There may not be a Palestine, or any Palestinians, left to save by 2028.
And Palestine would be the least of our worries compared to what he does to the US. Banning abortion, spying on women, installing far-right judges on the Supreme Court, dismantling the Department of Education, persecuting racial minorities and LGBTQ+ people, basically all of Project 2025 and Greta, of all people, knows what Trump thinks about the environment.
And if Trump wins, it’ll probably vindicate January 6th. Trump’s already promised to pardon the rioters, call them patriots and described January 6th as a day of love. He and the GOP will probably even make January 6th a national holiday, like the next 4th of July. And the next time a Republican loses or liberals protest, what’s stopping Trump from sending his Patriot Brownshirts for another good ole insurrection? It’s not like he’ll face consequences.
And also, should the Democratic Party lose this year, they’ll lurch even further right. You can forget whoever’s running in 2028 even pretending care about Palestine or reaching out to leftist voters. And after Hillary and Harris, good luck getting the Democrats to nominate another woman, or anyone other than a “safe” straight moderate white man, as a presidential candidate.
I wish I could say I don’t understand why she’s so short-sighted, but I think I might: Greta Thunberg is a rich white young woman who was given global attention as a teenager and her obstinately insulting world leaders led to such success and praise. Of course she’ll carry the same attitude to her other passions. She won’t have the interest to understand about appealing to undecided voters or Israel’s history and perspectives.
And frankly, this statement sounds like she’s throwing out random political buzzwords “imperialist”, “hyper-capitalist”, “stolen land and genocide”. It’s probably a stretch but since Thunberg’s brought up racism, I can’t get past the optics of a rich white Scandinavian discouraging Americans from voting for the first black woman leading a presidential ticket, especially since Thunberg only began speaking out for Palestine last year.
Here’s Bernie Sanders, who supported Palestine since the 80s, arguing why he’s voting for Harris:
And let me give you my best answer. And that is that even on this issue, Donald Trump and his rightwing friends are worse. In the Senate and in Congress Republicans have worked overtime to block humanitarian aid to the starving children in Gaza. The president and vice-president both support getting as much humanitarian aid into Gaza as soon as possible.
Trump has said that Netanyahu is doing a good job and that Biden is holding him back. He has suggested that the Gaza Strip would make excellent beachfront property for development. It is no wonder Netanyahu prefers to have Donald Trump in office.
We cannot sit this election out. Trump has to be defeated
But even more importantly, and this I promise you, after Harris wins we will, together, do everything we can to change US policy toward Netanyahu – including an immediate ceasefire, the return of all hostages, a surge of massive humanitarian aid, the stopping of settler attacks on the West Bank, and the rebuilding of Gaza for the Palestinian people.
And let me be clear. We will have, in my view, a much better chance of changing US policy with Harris than with Trump, who is extremely close to Netanyahu and sees him as a like-minded, rightwing extremist ally.
But let me also say this, and I deal with this every single day as a US senator. As important as Gaza is, and as strongly as many of us feel about this issue, it is not the only issue at stake in this election.
If Trump wins, women in this country will suffer an enormous setback and lose the ability to control their own bodies. That is not acceptable.
If Trump wins, to be honest with you, the struggle against the climate crisis is over. While virtually every scientist who has studied the issue understands that the climate crisis is real and an existential threat to our country and the world, Trump believes it is a “hoax”. And if the United States, the largest economy in the world, stops transforming our energy system away from fossil fuel, every other country – China, Europe, all over the world, they will do exactly the same thing. And God only knows the kind of planet we will leave to our kids and future generations.
If Trump wins, at a time of enormous income and wealth inequality, he will demand even more tax breaks for the very richest people in our country, while cutting back on programs that working families desperately need. The rich will only get richer, while the minimum wage will remain at $7.25 an hour, and millions of our fellow workers will continue to earn starvation wages.
Did you all see the recent Trump rally at Madison Square Garden? Well, I did, and what I can tell you is that as a nation, as all of you know, we have struggled for years against impossible odds to try to overcome all forms of bigotry – whether it is racism, whether it’s sexism, whether it’s homophobia, whether it’s xenophobia, you name it.
We have tried to fight against bigotry, but that is exactly what we saw on display at that unbelievable Trump rally. It was not a question of speakers getting up there and disagreeing with Kamala Harris on the issues. That wasn’t the issue at all. They were attacking her simply because she was a woman and a woman of color. Extreme vulgar sexism and racism. Is that really the kind of America that we can allow?
So let me conclude by saying this. This is the most consequential election in our lifetimes. Many of you have differences of opinion with Harris on Gaza. So do I. But we cannot sit this election out. Trump has to be defeated. Let’s do everything we can in the next week to make sure that Kamala Harris is our next president.
EDIT:
Very good post. Thanks for that work.

Election Day Eve poll. Who will end up winning the 2024 US presidential election?
- Kamala Harris
- Donald Trump
Tomorrow may end up looking like 2020 and become election week instead of an election night. It mainly depends on how close the 7 tossup states are this election cycle. If it’s less than a 1% difference we may be in for an election week. If either candidate has over 1% or more then states like Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin may be able to see projections late into the night or really early in the morning. Arizona and Nevada will simply be slow no matter what due to election laws in the state so it’s unlikely we will see any calls from either state.

Well, that’s just fucking great. Mind you, this is not his first time, there were several allegations even before he was hired to voice the Disruptor.
How about we get Kevin Spacey or Neil Gaiman as our next ET? If we’re hiring accused rapists, at least get someone who can actually act.
I voted for Harris out of pure hope more than anything. Trump returning would have such dire ramifications for not just the USA but the world.
Goddammit Bobby!
Main take away was low propensity voters. Low propensity voters are people who tend not to vote or if they do it’s rare. Despite continuing to shift suburbs to the left which is what helped Biden get elected President in 2020 it likely won’t matter. We saw a massive increase in voters who rarely come out to vote which simply overwhelmed any limited gains Harris campaign made. While the electoral college hasn’t been decided yet nor have news networks made any calls I don’t see Harris pulling the votes needed to win from what remains to be counted. Most likely Trump has won 270 or more to win a second term.
EDIT:
Another note. Due to how many low propensity voters are turnout out to vote Trump looks likely to win the popular vote for the first time ever.
Thing that will be interesting is how long these low propensity voters remain a large force. In 2028 will they simply go back to not voting without Trump on the ballot or will they continue to help Republicans going into the future? If they are a force that remains then the Democratic Party will likely evolve and need to adjust politically to try and win those voters over or remain locked out of White House. I’d imagine the Democrats will likely do a pivot to the center or center-right like they have after defeats in past elections under Nixon, Reagan, Bush, etc.
