She did it either to get ahead of bad news about to drop about her and Epstein/Maxwell, or because hours earlier a national poll came out showing she’s the most unliked/least popular First Lady in US history. Either way, it’s to cover and save her own ass, has nothing to do with Donald.
I disagree. I give it a 30% chance it’s just to make his life harder.
I don’t think so, because the more difficult it is for him, the more it is for her. She hates him and wants him to die, but under conditions that ensure she gets her cut of his financial empire. Trying to piss him off and make him think in his waning, dementia-riddled days that she’s become his enemy while he’s still well enough to do something about it is not the way to do that.
Well no one was talking about her in conjunction with the island or the spy I mean sex trafficker. Just her husband and even that has largely subsided with the war. Then she comes out and brings it to the centre of the news cycle again.

That’s precisely why it is believed that something is going to come out soon and she’s trying to get ahead of it. The simpler explanation is that she’s trying to rehabilitate her image and increase her likability points a little after that poll came out showing how much she’s hated.

This was a resounding victory for democracy, it’s a very heartening thing to see in a time where I sometimes feel like democracy is on life support. Orban and his mafia state goons will lose over half their seats despite a campaign where they used every dirty trick in the book; fake news, fake polls, disinformation, voter intimidation. But democracy won today. I know these are strong words but I really think the people of Hungary saved their country today.
