Windows 11 is officially announced, yet to release in fall. Free upgrade for the owners of 7, 8, 8.1, 10.

Minimum requirements:
64bit 2 core cpu, 1ghz at least.
4gigs of ram
64gigs of storage
9inchs screen, 1366*768 at least
Graphic Card with DirectX 12 support
UEFI Bios with Secure boot and TPM 2.0 support

New Windows Store supporting Android apps, (you seemingly can run Android apps with no need of 3rd party apps on Win11), boxes with increased border radius, and better support for Xbox are other features.

Visit here if you have a translator on your browser, haven’t been able to find an English page.

Supporting Android Apps is a clever move, though I hope you can opt-out of some of the “features” at install.

All in all it looks good, but I need to know how much worse the surveillance is this time.

Truly a solid basis for political commentary.

They are definitely going to be pushing the Windows Store super hard in Windows 11.

Kindof amazed it’s been 6 years since Windows 10. Wonder how this will hit PC gaming. Seems like you might lose a bunch of games in the upgrade which aren’t updated to accomodate the new operating system.

As a South Australian I can confirm that we are like camels. We store water in a special gland so we can survive longer without water. We also naturally purify any water we ingest.

Seriously fuck you Nat twats, we aren’t going to let you and the fucking cotton lobby steal any more of our water.

The new law requires colleges and universities to conduct an annual survey measuring “intellectual freedom and viewpoint diversity” on their campuses. It’s an effort to gauge “the extent to which competing ideas and perspectives are presented”, as well as how free students, faculty and staff feel “to express their beliefs and viewpoints”, the bill says.

Now that’s a yikes

as well as how free students, faculty and staff feel “to express their beliefs and viewpoints”, the bill says.

This part especially is infuriating to me. Basically saying “hurr durr I need to say offensive shit so I made a law about it”
Do they not understand what morals are? Ethics? Feelings? “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all”? How the fuck are we moving backward as a society. (or at least the US jeez)

That is what it is saying, the worst of free speech absolutism.

They do but the thing is that we actually in the artifical world the Cons create around themselves. When you have your own morals and ethics then you are a glitch in the matrix even if you are 100 percent correct and they are dead wrong.
