Ted Cruz Attacks Big Bird Over Vaccine is one hell of a headline.

Last year, a “journalist” published what he said was Ashley Biden’s diary and alleged that Biden molested her. I hope that these stories are entirely separate. No matter what you think of Biden, no one should ever be libelled like this.

The Illinois General Assembly is considering a bill that would make it legal for citizens to sue other citizens who use a fake Covid vaccine card. The law would require the courts to award judgments of exactly $10,000. If the person who gets caught using the fake card doesn’t have the money to pay then wage garnishment is built into the act.

If this format sounds familiar it’s bc it’s the exact same model Texas used with their recent anti abortion act.

Stunning job from the LNP right here, run saying your version of the NBN will be less expensive then spend four times as much and isn’t even all that better than what we have.

Oh gee I wonder why…

Couldn’t possibly be because politicians are ignorant of this or simply paid for by agribusiness.

I want to get off Mr God’s Wild Ride. I want to get off Mr. God’s Wild Ride. I want to get off Mr. God’s Wild Ride.

John Cleese has cancelled himself due to the Cambridge Union banning a guy who impersonated Hitler during a debate.

Ironically the debate topic was “The house believes there is no such thing as good taste”.

Huh?

What? Do the idiots know that our reef needs the world to be cooler to survive and that it is a UNESCO site?

How dare those Republicans actually look after their constituents! Don’t they know they are supposed to just do what Trump would do?

How about we let Rick Snyder pay the bill? :stuck_out_tongue:

Then you will be thrilled to hear this was because he wanted to have footage for a “documentary” on “cancel culture”.

I don’t think he intentionally did it but I would be very surprised if this didn’t come up in the doco. Also I would like to remind people that Cleese voted for Brexit then moved to St Kitts and Nevis after he regretted voting for it.

Well he did do a significant impression. The Germans is easily the funniest Fawlty Towers.

Is this the Department of Justice doing what it should?

COP26, the United Nation Climate Change summit ended today outside of schedule, it ran for two weeks .

The Glasgow agreement was signed today the 13th by 200 countries.
Negotiations were tense, to the point that the summit was extended for a day (it was supposed to run from Oct 31st to Nov 12th)

The agreement main point is to keep climate change limited at 1.5 degree Celsius (2.7 F), the objective decided in Cancun ten years ago in 2010.

There have been no new objectives written.

The negotiations were impacted by a last minute demand from India, who demanded a change in the language used. They demanded that coal would be “phased down” instead of “phased out”.
They compounded with other diplomatic movement made by coal-using or coal-producing countries.

“Almost 200 nations accepted a contentious climate compromise Saturday aimed at keeping a key global warming target alive, but it contained a last-minute change that watered down crucial language about coal.”

“Nation after nation had complained earlier on the final day of two weeks of U.N. climate talks in Glasgow, Scotland about how the deal did not go far or fast enough, but they said it was better than nothing and provided incremental progress, if not success.”

“Swiss environment minister Simonetta Sommaruga said the change will make it harder to achieve the international goal to limit warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit) since pre-industrial times.”

“Many other nations and climate campaigners pointed at India for making demands that weakened the final agreement.”

“Others approached the deal from a more positive perspective. In addition to the revised coal language, the Glasgow Climate Pact included enough financial incentives to almost satisfy poorer nations and solved a long-standing problem to pave the way for carbon trading.”

Reactions are already being told by officials and activists.

And for anyone who wishes to look more into the 1.5 degree objective :

Well, fuck-a-doodle-doo.

If no part of the government is above scrutiny then why don’t you make a federal ICAC? Why don’t you tell us who still has secret trust accounts? Which members are rapists or sexual harrasers? Which ones are that lock up refugees and asylum seekers even integrated ones? The ones that make backroom deals just policy votes? Which ones have been embezzling public funds? The ones that have been porkbarrelling come election time? The ones that get paid by the corporations to deny climate change? Is it because the answer to all of them is: LNP?

The Astroworld Crush has claimed the life of a nine year old. This brings the final count up to ten after another post-Astroworld death earlier in the week.

Oh god he is gonna call Bernie a pedo isn’t he?

Looming? Well his shadow is certainly going to be hanging over the proceedings.

Republicans must be so confused, no doubt it is because of their incredible stupidity.
