It’s not a requirement. The game only checks for the state of the character (Dead, Alive, Pacified),and has no flags for conversations.

yeah i’m aware of the steps, but they do not work. Also, sorry, forgot to mention in my post that i’m asking if someone has managed to do it in HITMAN 3. I have the suspicion it might be broken.

edit: tried it on HITMAN 2 as well, doesn’t work either.

Works fine in HITMAN 2016.

I actually only found out about this EE recently. The steps I did were:

  1. Kill Rebecca in Bangkok (with Jeff staying alive oc).
  2. Pacify Jeff in Sapienza when he runs towards the cliff. (I also read his suicide note and pacified the bloke who takes pictures near the cliff so he wouldn’t notice the body)
  3. Destroy the barrel in Colorado he uses to kill himself.

Did it in H3 in one playthrough, worked like a charm, so it’s definitely not broken. Well, not on PC anyway.

Though I played Hokkaido PZ some two days ago and couldn’t see the bastard there (his note was still there though), but maybe he was just walking around…

Yeah, just playing it and he is there. Just a bit difficult to bump into lol. I thought he stays in his room for the first few minutes.

Another one I forgot to share here, there are apparently Easter eggs in Club 27 (Bangkok) for each of the GOTY suits

There’s reference to “Clown has popped all balloons at party”, but I tried that and didn’t notice anything

All the Easter Eggs seem to use a Santa disguise… possibly scrapped?

Sorry to the bearer of bad news guys. I’ve looked into the 3 GOTY easter eggs in Bangkok and here’s what I have to say:

  • All of them, contrary to what they say require the Santa Suit (this added to the fact that they’re all not fully finished, some are more finished than others.

  • Raven Suit (Dark sniper multikill)

    • This one is unfinished and cannot be completed unlike the following two.

  • Cowboy Suit (Cowboy Starts barfight)

    • This one is, well a cowboy barfight, here is how to do it:
  1. Start as 47 in the santa suit
  2. Punch all crew and bartenders at the bars (in the lounge and main atrium)
  3. Punch all the civillians at the bars
  4. Shoot the woman (see image below) and punch her male companion (You can shoot guards)
  • Clown Suit (Clown ruin birthday party)
    • This one is where you ruin Jordan’s birthday party as a clown (or in this case, a santa suit). Here’s how to do it:
  1. Start as 47 in the santa suit
  2. Shoot all balloons in the party DO NOT KILL ANYONE AT THE PARTY
  3. Destroy the cake (shooting it)
  4. Profit?
    • Now what does this one do you ask? It sends a metric event to IOI CLOWN_BIRTHDAY because of course it does.

From other indications in the brick, these were meant to be challenges. Maybe apart of a GOTY challenge pack?

Upon further investigation, the metric event would’ve likely been used to unlock a challenge (since that’s how challenges work) you probably could re-implement these horrible (at least for the cowboy one) challenges with a custom server.

Does any one know if the moose drop easter egg from 2016 still works in H3? I tried to shoot the helicopter many times but it didn’t trigger and the bills arn’t there anymore, unless I am misremembering where they originally were.

I still think theres something on dartmoor with the unicorn horns. It gotta have something to do with the unicorn in chains in the main fountain.

Interestingly as they removed the fountain for the garden show they also removed the horns you could break off the unicorns. Which makes me think even more that theres something to trigger as they could have totally just left them as they were.

Pretty sure that “Onkel Nick” is a reference to Nick Andersen, one of our cinematic artists. Lilith and White are also community members. Hiro is the lead character in Mini Ninjas

The reason his name is blue is because it links directly to the game. I’ve added brackets to it for reading consistency,

@Travis_IOI Can IOI drop a hint to the known Chongqing EE? Been working on it for a while and seem to be the only person that’s actively trying to solve it.
