Why the hell would they align the global launch for everyone? Why? This is straight up retarded. If they let the UK play 16 ago like they should and the US 8 hours ago and so on this wouldnât be a bloody issueâŚbut now literally everyone in the whole world is all forced to deal with this s*** at the same time and literally nobody can do anything with progress carryover. At the very LEAST PSN let me redeem my Hitman 2016 and Hitman 2 content for free but still canât play.

Yes, it would be an issue. Everyone else does that and STILL has problems! Gears 5 ran perfect until it unlocked for North America because thatâs where the majority of the customers are.

I was unable due to COVID-19 to follow the H3 launch closely on IOI/Hitman Twitter/FB updates. I
see it overall has been a bit messy, but Iâm still trying to figure out what is happening, how everything will work and filtering out updated current news, from the old news that doesnât apply anymore.

They shouldâve expected this players are hammering the progression website (which connects through the IOI Account), and returning players are automatically being logged into their accounts in their games (furthering the hammering to the IOI Accounts).
They REALLY needed to not do both at launch.

Iâm not going to even think about doing the progress transfer until that site runs smoothly. There are too many things that could go wrong and you can almost predict the outcome if it breaks part the way through⌠Weâd get a tweet from IOI along the lines, âWe are aware that a small number of people have experienced issues transferring progress and are now locked out of playing Hitman 3. We are looking into this and hope to have some news soon.â

What is happening: IO decided that actually spending the money to make sure they had site capacity for a worldwide simultaneous launch wasnât a priority, so theyâve managed to effectively DDoS themselves.
How everything will work: assuming promises are somehow a magic IO has discovered, it will be fixed soon. More likely this will be going on at least the next 16 hours. If you took the day off work because you foolishly assumed a release date would be the date the game was able to be played, maybe demand a refund, I donât know.
On a personal note I would like to thank IO for finally convincing me that preordering is the biggest scam in gaming. Even Cyberpunk 2077 actually let me play it, odd animation aside. Thanks to IO demanding their single player game be always connected, I canât even get past the menu this morning.

Potentially. If you donât take the initial opportunity, I canât see how you are supposed to get access at a later date. Thereâs no obvious button to press.

Pretty clear this is why the site wasnât up until 3 minutes before launch. It must have been broken for awhile now so Iâm not optimistic about a quick fix if they couldnât before launch.

Yeah, 2077 had a lot of issues on consoles, Iâd still consider 2077 more egregious. This is just server overload.

I donât know. Iâm able to play Cyberpunk right now and was able to at launch. I canât play this pile, so there is no way to compare. For all I know once I log in all the npcs will be immune to poison and walk on their hands.
