honestly a pricey cardboard skinner box meant to celebrate the entire franchise but only really focusing on hitman woa is pretty fitting for the current state of hitman

I was also hoping that at least the DLC code included might work, but then realized this anniversary edition exists on PS5 only. (??) It would make the most sense to be PC only if they could only pick one platform imo. Being PlayStation only feels random, though maybe they did that because it had the latest version of updated VR. :confused:

At the time of its reveal, I just assumed it was due to Sony locking up exclusive rights to the edition, but now that you mention it, when this was put into production, PSVR2 must’ve been a relevant selling point too.

Might even be a bit of both. We probably won’t ever know, but one thing’s for sure; It;'s been a pretty crappy anniversary. The most celebration of the franchise got was in the dev stream, not in-game, which is utter madness when you think about it.

That’s what we get for talking to a brick wall, I suppose.

Was probably an IO choice due to past sales. A few years ago they did a WoA-branded re-release that was PS5-only and not Xbox.
