And it’s such a unique map too, with it being the only one to have a target that doesn’t move aka Soders and having doors that unlock based on your uniform/outfit. It has such an amazing futuristic vibe to it that no other map has given me.
Does anyone know what to do if ansel no longer has most of the functionality after automatically updating video card drivers?
Either wait a bit (or try to reboot your PC) or reinstall GeForce Experience
Reminds me of Mafia 2:
“…poor fellow slipped and hit his Head pretty hard… about four to five times.”
I’m still waiting a fix for this game. Since July I’m unable to use depth of field or green screen filters.
That’s actually on Nvidia. Yes, I was surprised about too.
I’ve had those filters not working since before July.
I also have problems with Ansel (Nvidia). Since about a month they added more filters and since than, the depth of field filter is not working anymore. Before that, I was able to blurry the background and to have a clear front, like here:
But now it always looks like this, no matter how I adjust the filter…
Let me be straight - I am not sure if it helps. For the last 3 months I’ve been seeing a lot of people complaining about NVIDIA “depth of field” effects not working (they include blur and green screen).
I was the first one to face this problem. As the guy above said, all you have to do is to update your NVIDIA drivers to the older version (I can’t quite remember the version, but it’a 46_ something). In order to find it you can use an advanced search on their website.
There is no point calling NVIDIA support - they won’t answer. I guess the filters got broken, because H3 is no longer supported by new drivers, but I ain’t sure about that
I think the version is 466.11 or below. If I remember good, that was the last (or one of the latest) driver were filters worked.
P.S. Would be awesome if there is a way to get it fixed by our hand.
Seems will be fixed with the next driver release (in october):
Thanks! Thing is, I don’t have Hitman 3 installed, just one and two So maybe it has nothing to do with the game itself. I think I will wait for the next driver, or else I will try an older version.
Because what @Count.Rushmore said- I have no idea what all of that means I’m a total noob when it comes to my computer
So it looks like the depth of field filter is working again, but they changed it, they added a y and x axis. Can someone maybe explain to me what that means and what it causes?
I’ve looked the changelog of this new driver… They claim a fix only for the depth of field filter. Can you please look also for the green screen filter, ti see if it’s working? Otherwise i don’t even bother to install this driver.
However the axis Y and X has been added since june/july, but probably was in the beta version of GeForce experience (which you can enable). Btw i don’t know how they work because the filter was already broken.
Even after updating to the latest version of the driver, DOF and Green Screnn are still broken. (GTX980Ti)
Really? Anyway Thanks
Hm, for me DoF works fine again. I had the problem that the front was blurry all the time, no matter what I did, but now its good again. Background is blurry while the front is nice and clear.
With DoF
Without DoF
@Joe9411 GreenScreen is still broken
On my PC, the foreground is still blurred as well as the background.
