Description : The Arcade Smuggled item is bugged. The layout of the room was changed from the normal map and so the smuggled briefcase spawns under a shelving unit and cannot be picked up.
Steps to reproduce:
Start the game
Go to The Rage Elusive Target
Choose the arcade to stash any smuggled item.
Start mission.
Try to pick up your smuggled item.
Frequency : Always happens.
I cannot attach any images as I finished the elusive target, I apologize.
Location: Colorado
The barn right next to the entrance of the explosive range (Sean comes in there to wash his hands).
Weapons falling trough the floor , no matter if they’re dropped by an npc, or by 47.
Location: Sapienza (all versions of it)
This is very minuscule, but once you know, it sticks out; under the Caruso villa, there’s a café, with a small board next to its entrance. The writing on it is doubled, sometimes tripled.
Location: any
The other day I switched off the music, then back.
Ever since, the game tends to turn off ambiance/music itself, leaving only sfxs to play. In order to fix, I have to restart the game.
It happens frequently, but not each time I load the game.
I did change some of my HUD options, so I’m not sure if this is a bug… But I’ve been seeing the ‘RELOAD’ notification flash on-screen if I’ve gotten down to 1 or 0 bullets for whichever gun I was last using, even if I’ve put it away.
Description : The last target in level 3 of the Greed Enumeration Escalation only drops 7 coins instead of 8 making the challenge to exit the mission with 60 coins impossible… i tried it multiple times and every time i ended up with 59 coins
We can even say that it is intended. Generally, when you kill or subdue a NPC, the NPC releases any items he possesses (coin, key…). When you destroy the water scooter, the NPC is killed in an unreachable zone. So any items that fall there can’t be obtainable. The “teleportation” feature is a way to circumvent this problem.
Location: Chongqing (as configured for the Rage Elusive Target)
Description: Storage shelf blocks access to the briefcase for the “Arcade” smuggled item location
Steps to reproduce:
Enter planning mode for the Rage mission
Select a smuggled item to be stashed in the “Arcade” location (specific item selected does not matter)
Start the mission, visit the arcade office
Note that the briefcase is visible, but cannot be interacted with. Regardless of where the player stands, where the view (cursor) is aimed, or whether or not you crouch, the “Take briefcase” and “Retrieve item” action prompts cannot be made to appear.
Frequency: Always
Notes: It occurred to me that this might be intentional as the arcade office is part of the ET’s route, but if so it would seem a lot cleaner to have a “Location cannot be selected” warning over the Arcade in the planning menu (similar to what’s sometimes done in other contracts) instead of having the ICA apparently leave gear in an inaccessible location.
Although the ET is almost over, reporting in case (1) the mission is ever recycled as the Hitman 1/2 ETs eventually were (multiple times), (2) another mission ever uses the same furniture placement, and/or (3) QA is interested in adding smuggled item locations to the checklist for pre-release testing, which seems advisable.
Bonus bug in this level: The woman talking on her cell phone along the walkway at the southern edge of the map (just to the east of where two workers in chef uniforms have a conversation about the Facility access code) occasionally spawns on top of the safety rail (so that she appears to float in midair, and cannot be subdued or given a shove) instead of next to it.
This report is more of a subjective one, but after finally playing through the 7DS pack, these two inconsistencies stood out to me.
The Serpent’s Bite is currently an illegal item, but it should actually be legal to carry like the other themed explosives (Napoleon Blownaparte, Lil’ Flashy, Iconator, and Roar Flash Grenade).
The Goldbrick Proximity Mine should be moved to the “Tools” category. As a non-explosive and non-flash mine, it has more in common with the Remote Emetic Gas Device and Emetic Grenades that are labeled as Tools.
The “Polar survival suit” has issues across several maps. These are the examples I have found:
using this suit in the entire public area in mendoza is labeled as trespassing except from the car park starting location and the waiter at the entrance doesn’t ask to see invitation. I also assume corvo black isn’t an enforcer.
mr. Pritchard isn’t an enforcer on chongqing.
the ICA agents aren’t enforcers on berlin.
the guard at the main gate in “death in the family” isn’t an enforcer.
“the crows” in the slums in mumbai aren’t enforcers.
being in 47’s suite on hokkaido is labeled as trespassing and cannot be aloud back in if you leave.
being in 47’s suite on bangkok is labeled as trespassing, and you cannot ask the man at the reception for your keycard.
Sal falcone (the detective) is not an enforcer on “world of tomorrow” in sapienza.
the iago auction in paris is labeled as trespassing, but it’s not supposed too when in a suit.
Side note: It honestly baffles me that this suit was even released despite it being extremely broken. It seems to me that they didn’t test it at all.
The “Illusions of Grandeur” special assignment on mumbai is completely broken. The whole chawls biulding is not trespassing anymore, which ultimately ruins the whole premise of the mission and makes it way easier.
