HITMAN 3 - Modding Thread

Also, the snowballs could melt into a puddle of water.

What about blood puddles? Do they work as well?

I might look into adding an option for slippery blood puddles either in this mod or in More Blood

I know there’s an entire mission story based around it in Mendoza, but Wine doesn’t conduct electricity due to its covelant bonds (this applies to alcohol in general, really). So if you wanna go for realism, then the Pinot Noir Bottle, and all alcoholic beverages, should be excluded.

But of course, gameplay reasons is why IOI did what they did, and you in turn have done the same thing.

I’m not sure this is true. While pure ethanol has poor conductivity, you only find about 12 % of ethanol in wine. Most of the remaining 88 % should be water, which unless it is very pure can indeed conduct electricity. So I think wine itself should also be conductive.

Not to forget that some wine just tastes like water with a bit of grape and alcohol.

yates is just selling water that’s dyed purple because he doesn’t want to spend the money on actual wine

SMFv3 is now in open beta! If you would like to test the new version of the Simple Mod Framework before its official release, you can join the testing server here. Note that SMFv3 is not officially released yet - you should not release mods for it, or encourage new users to use it unless they explicitly want to test the prerelease version. Things to expect:

  • Much, much faster deployments
  • A much better mod making experience (no more dependencies!)
  • Translations! (if you want to help out, visit the link in #info to join the project)
  • Some bugs, potentially

Drunk 47 Mod

Introduces a whole new game mechanic - drunkenness. Here’s the major bullet points:

  • All alcohol items in the game are drinkable now, and will increase drunkenness
  • Having any alcohol in 47’s system will disable health regen, but drinking more alcohol heals him. You can restore health regen by becoming sober again
  • Sober up by using the bathroom. All toiilets in the game can be used. Or not…
  • The more drunk you are, the higher your damage resistance, but it’ll be harder to see straight
  • At high drunkenness, drinking can result in involuntary drunk actions like vomiting or urination
  • At the highest levels of drunkenness, 47 hobbles because he’s so hammered, and can’t sprint
  • 47 can dance when he’s drunk enough. This doesn’t affect anything. He’s just drunk
  • Vomiting makes nearby NPCs sick, as well as NPCs who walk by the vomit for a short time after
  • You can voluntarily urinate anywhere when beyond a minimum amount of alcohol
  • You can even piss off rooftops and ledges to create puddles below
  • The more drunk you are, the longer you can urinate for. 47’s piss is a resource tied directly to drunkenness
  • The sound of piss splashing will attract NPCs, so this can even be used as a distraction
  • Drinking another drink after reaching maximum drunkenness results in a blackout: [REDACTED]
