HITMAN 3 Trophy List (HEAVY SPOILERS)

4 target names in Berlin might be codenames of ICA agents/assassins?

After seeing the “Hölle Club” and all, I expect some rival agents like in A Dance With the Devil. Not gonna lie, when I saw that one of them is named Montgommery I remembered Maynard John for some reason lol

Yeah, lures, traps and stuff

5 mastery levels and on a train (naturally limited)? Maybe if it was a seventh level after the sixth, but no thanks. If I had pre-ordered this already I would feel as tricked as I did when Nightcall was as small and limited as it was.

Me reading the thread.

Bigger versions, but also blurry

Notice that the Hitman 3 “Reached [Location] Mastery Level 20” Xbox achievement pics feature what I believe to be the default starting suit for each mission: Skydiving outfit in Dubai, tweed coat and turtleneck in Dartmoor, casual (leather?) jacket in Berlin, rain- or trenchcoat in Chongqing, and a white dinner jacket (unfortunately with black lapel, not very traditional) in Mendoza.

You can find the good, high resolution versions here :stuck_out_tongue:

Nice find! The same goes for Whittleton Creek btw.

Reading that there’s a platinum trophy, then seeing the last mission only has 5 mastery levels :grimacing:

Now what does this mean? Will they feature some brand-new challenges to go with the increased Mastery, or will it all just stay the same? Can’t wait to find out.

This is the most disappointing part of this reveal for me. The five mastery is kinda bad sure, but not seeing the names of any of the villains that have been built up the last 5 years irks me. That’s such a video game BS kind of thing to do. Where they kill villains off in cutscenes, that’s so un-Hitman. The entire point is killing people and yet you won’t let us kill the main villains? Ridiculous. Sergei was built up, and then you killed him. Fournier was built up not as well, but he was still the final target. Cayne and even Dexter were in tons of cutscenes and you killed them off. It’s going to be so disappointing if my final targets aren’t Arthur Edwards and Lucas Grey but instead some randos I never heard of.

Constant to 47: “now look fat, listen here fat. You wanna do some push ups? See how tough you really are.”

I agree, if Grey or the Constant are given a Benjamin Travis style cutscene death it would be very anticlimactic.
I do think we’ll be offing at least one of those two in Romania (in game) however.

I hope so. I really preferred if Romania was a level 20 snowy airport but a snowy train is cool. 5 levels does suck but Hawke’s Bay got a lot of new content to fill itself out. I hope we at least get to kill the both of them and everyone on that train.

At the Providence meeting, 47 looks to be in some kind of disguise. Why is Diana not an enforcer? I really hope Diana hasn’t been given “normal” AI.

She’s not listed as a target, so she must be a mole that’s helping us.

Oh dear, can’t believe we’re repeating the exact same discussion we had when the trophy list for Hawke’s Bay came out in 2018. “What? 5 Level Mastery? Something must be wrong with that, that’s way too small, have faith guize”
It’s 100% a 5 Level Mastery, there’s no ifs or buts about it, might wanna manage your expectations or you’ll be very disappointed when you load the map up in-game.

And yes I am disappointed; I thought since there’s no Sniper Assassin maps, no Ghost Mode, no Expansion Content, more Epic Money and no deadline rush, that the least they’d do is give six 20-level mastery maps like their promo material stated :S Let’s hope they somehow make up for it by offering free Bonus Missions post-launch this time?

Not sure if this belongs in a different thread but here’s what I sense from the list/pictures

Mendozaaaaaa:

  • Knew it’d be a winery, it was pretty clearly the location where Diana was shown in announcement trailer, don’t know why some people thought it would be the snowy level or airport
  • It has potential to be a good map, but yeah obviously I would’ve preferred an airport or prison to be ticked off before Hitman’s long hiatus, rather than a winery which we already had in Blood Money (I do expect this to be way better than A Vintage Year though)
  • “Rich Harvest” picture shows a sniper enemy? Either that or a mounted machine gun enemy. I think that’s actually something new in this trilogy. Not sure what a military-looking outfit is doing at a winery but hey maybe that’s just what Argentina’s like :stuck_out_tongue: Or maybe there happens to be an outpost outside the winery
  • I’m sure it will be a good map, was just hoping they’d be trying to stuff in really different concepts in this final game; I imagine this would be like Dartmoor if it was populated by 100 guests instead of just a family and staff, or Paris if the building was smaller and majority of the guests put outdoors instead

Romania:

  • Obviously disappointing about the 5 level mastery
  • I actually feel slightly better about them doing a train; I’m not someone who’s wanted a train level but I know it’s something some fans have requested over the years on Reddit. Just glad it’s doing something new and isn’t a run-down abandoned asylum. I don’t think it will be a level I (or many) end up playing much because like all the critics of those Reddit posts pointed out: it’s literally a linear level, and that’s usually Hitman at its worst
  • I’m pretty sure no achievement has ever required the player to kill a non-target, therefore since you’re required to kill guards for an achievement this is an “everyone’s a target” mission, or at least “no one’s a non-target”
  • You clearly start off the level as some sort of prisoner; that’s fine for story mode but terrible for Contracts mode. In fact like the only other 5 level mastery map in the series, it might not even have contracts mode unless some nerd spends 7 months going on about it all the time. This is bad considering contracts mode always ends up being all the game has to keep going when the devs aren’t releasing new stuff.
  • Also related to above, how’s that gonna work with Escalations and Elusive Targets? You happen to start every single one off as a prisoner? What would an ET on a train even be like? Instead of target being in the last cabin they’re in the third last cabin? Maybe they could do a bonus mission where it’s daytime and it’s a civilian train and you’re not a hostile but that’s not gonna happen
  • It’s possible there’s some sort of extra parts of the map where you start and/or finish the train ride and get to walk around on the ground, but I’d rule out starting the train ride since you’re allegedly unconscious And as for getting off the train at the end
makes things too weird for non-story mode
if your target is at the destination then what, you just sit on the train and wait 20 minutes to arrive? Eh.

Well now we learn more about the targets (at least names), do you think any of them could be armed with weapons? :gun:

  • Yes
  • No

Yeah or made 7 maps with one being 15 levels and the other being 5.

I’m going to guess there’s alternate starting locations which skip that. Hopefully.

Well since the final level probably won’t have target routes, they could make the Constant and Grey (fingers Jordan Crossed) just use guard AI and mark them as targets.
