If you remember my other post (link to it), I’ve been going through and posting all of the older Hitman (pre WoA) dialogue files, as there is many dialogue lines no one has really explored. Absolution is the longest older Hitman game, in terms of sheer volume of writing for both the game itself and the AI dialogue (the developers cite it at 2,000 pages of AI dialogue, and every mocap actor interviewed has discussed how thick of a script they were handed), as well as a little bit of a pain file format wise. This took me a couple months (as I was not fortunate enough to discover the Hitman Absolution Editor until a week ago when one of the developers reached out to me) with searching for information on the .pc_resourcelib format and asking for help near everywhere if anyone had any idea how to crack it, and eventually getting a custom script for extraction written for me by smiRaphi on Github. It was a ton of work, and even with all of the text files being cracked and formatted, they had to be sorted by level and described (as well, there is so much dialogue in this game I had never heard, and I wanted to make it easy to search and find any dialogue for anyone else who wants to deep dive into Absolution) and every single one of the 26,000+ audio files were listened to (around 3,000 of those are the regular game audio and 23,000 are AI dialogue). It was a massive amount of work but really worth it, as there were a lot of interesting conversations that added a lot of context to the plot that I had missed. As mentioned earlier, the HMA Editor will also let you see the dialogue here and was a massive help for checking my work, but this is a collection of everything in the original .teli files and converted to .txt and all of the audio in the .wav format. I hope this helps any other Absolution fan, as I feel it really makes it much easier to search for dialogue or information to fact check! It is all uploaded on the Internet Archive and is sorted pretty clearly. I would have included transcripts for every single one of the AI Dialogue files but began having pain that prevented me continuing working on it but if I do ever get to it, I will add that on as an additional part of the IA upload that will simply be a text file that lists all of it!
